Do Not Waste Your Time & Money. The spa building is beautiful but the spa itself is dirty & overcrowded. We enjoyed the pools on Margrit Island so much more.

This bathhouse is ~3 miles from the main section of Budapest….we took an Uber which was easy to do. This is the largest of the bathhouses, so there are a lot of people. If you pay for a “cabana” note that what you get is a locker. The locker is large enough to change in & does lock, so you can store valuables safely if you’d like to. There is 1 place where you can buy food. The food was average. One of my family members had chicken wings and said that they were flavorful. Another 2 had sausages which were very greasy and not too flavorful. The property was built in the early 1900’s, and its age shows. There was a lot of construction in progress the day we were there, which I guess is a good thing. But the caution tape & construction materials around the area diminished the experience. One thing that I also noticed is that there were no children (I.e., <16 years old) at these baths. I didn’t notice that there was a minimum age when I made the reservation. Overall, this is an activity that is worth “ticking the box” but I don’t thing you’ll miss anything if you don’t go.

We nearly didn’t go because of negative reviews but we had a wonderful 4hrs at the Spa. We arrived at 10am, found two sun beds and enjoyed all very relaxing time. Very clean and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend.

Not easy to find entrance, thought we had paid for a cabin and cabin mentioned on ticket but told we hadn't. Cut my toe getting out of the baths, it was bleeding to find first aid, when finally found them they didnt have anything with them and had to go get something. No chair for to sit on so had to stand up when the put a bandage on my foot, I was expecting a waterproof plaster. Women in the inside cafe not friendly and pointed

Good and bad…. Only one of the main pools had pressure and that was from waterfall and a few side pressure lines. A little shabby, definitely needed some TLC. When I walked in woman’s bathroom janitor was in there with women using it. Also they had two extra charges on their food receipts. I have a photo. Also not enough lounge chairs and only one large pool other one not working.

Insanely dirty dirty pools, dirt on the bottom, black green spots. Green water full of filth, dirty musty air in all indoor pools and sauna. Food I definitely wouldn't do.. rice fries everything is cold and dyingly expensive. Rob Geus is allowed to visit here and the tent will close immediately. Outdoor pool was good and nice and warm. The rest I thank my friends for laughing and fortunately nothing caught there..

What a fun and unique experience! You must bring your own towel and flip flops are required for everyone. They will sell you those things too. There is a nice bar to order drinks. There are several pools to choose from. 101 degrees F to 65 degree cold plunge!

Interesting trip - started early in the morning, no queue , lockers are comfortable. Didn't prebook anything, just paid at the ticket machine and went in. Loved the whole experience!
