We start our time traveling experience on the Pest side, and slowly go back in time to the Buda side, where king were ruling, where the city's history got started and finish the tour at the Fisherman's Bastions. Lara gave us a mini history lesson of Hungary before we started our walk, which was good background knowledge to better appreciate what we were seeing/learning about. She had anecdotes about various details we would have missed on our own. She helped us purchase bus tickets to return to our hotel at the end of the tour. She always had a smiling face.

Lara was not only a knowledgeable guide with an incredible passion for Budapest, but she’s also excellent at tailoring the tour to your needs. I met with her 25 minutes after I arrived to the city and she was very attentive and aware of ways to make the experience as comfortable and engaging as possible. She asked great questions, constantly solicited feedback and steered us into shade or onto benches to take breaks from the hot sun. Highly recommended.
