We had a fantastic afternoon with Eliab. He shared so much information about the culture, history and food of Buenos Aires. Sharing mate and homemade chocolates was the highlight. I would highly recommend a food tour to start your vacation in Buenos Aires. We have enjoyed other excellent food tours with Secret Food Tours. They always have excellent and educated guides who are passionate about their cities and food. Eliab was no exception. It was a wonderful afternoon.

The food in the city is great and this is a perfect way to get to know the traditional food of the city! You will go to some of the best places in town, most of which were recommended to me by locals as well. Martín was an amazing tour guide. He was able to explain the history and culture of how each dish was important to the people. He was warm, very friendly and wasn’t shy about answering any question you had for him. You also get to walk around the city a little bit and see the different vibes of the neighborhood.

We had 6 stops. There was a good variety of food and we all left very satisfied. Only water was served with our food but wine and other beverages were available to purchase. Best of all was our tour guide Martine, who was very knowledgeable about Argentine history, food, and spoke excellent English. We went to some out of the places, one of my favorites was the Mata and chocolate shop. I highly recommend this tour
