This scenic flight takes you on an unforgettable adventure over the Bungle Bungle Range, Lake Argyle, the Argyle Diamond Mine and Ord River Irrigation Area. You will also fly over the stunning Carr Boyd Ranges, Osmand Ranges, the Ord River and the Bow River.
Landing at Purnululu National Park and transfer to an air-conditioned 4WD bus. Enjoy a moderate 3km guided walk amongst the famous eroded towers and black and orange banded beehive structures on the Domes Walk. Your guide will take you into Cathedral Gorge, walk along the bed of Piccaninny Creek, which flows only in the monsoon waterfall season.
Return via a scenic flight to Kununurra, on the way viewing the Argyle Diamond Mine where rare pink diamonds are mined.

5.00A day where you start with preparing for your flight, the plane is small and handles around 12 people. Very cosy to get in but when seated easy to view scenery. Headphones connected to pilot for commentary and the flight plan down and back are slightly different to appreciate the different aspects of Lake Argyle, bungle bungles and on way back diamond mine no longer operating. The bus transfer from airport was great, you get you lunch pack (very good when you get to cathedral gorge.) The guides are very helpful and cater for breadth of walking skills, they are in lead and at rear to ensure all is well. It does get hot so be prepared including water. You will be pleased with the experience. The overall cost per person is quite high, but for those with limited time it is a wonderful and not to be missed experience. I certainly recommend it, make sure you have camera, some great shots.

5.00Check your pick up time with Viator. One lady missed her tour yesterday and I was lucky that I was ready early and the driver came back for me. That was down to Viator’s poor comms. The tour itself was brilliant. Ash and Taylor superb leaders, caring and thoughtful of the group, as well as knowledgeable, well prepped and organised. The Bungles are amazing. The sheer size and number take your breath away. Photos do not do it justice. We were not all youngsters on the trip but we all managed the walk despite the heat. The leaders have plenty of water to top up. Lunch was substantial and worth carrying to Cathedral Gorge. The gorge itself so quiet and peaceful. We all went home, tired and sweaty, but very happy .

5.00We enjoyed our trip to the Bungle Bungles. The flight there was expertly piloted by Jodie who also provided interesting commentary during the flight. Upon landing, we were met by Alissa and Ash who guided us on our hike to cathedral gorge. We enjoyed a picnic lunch at the gorge before hiking back to the car park. Our pilot Sam, flew us back to Kununurra pointing out significant land marks along the way. It was a great day.

4.00Bring a costume so you can have a swim at the lodge after a long hot walk. A wonderful experience with amazing staff who went out of their way to accommodate us.

5.00The trip was fantastic. We were collected onsite and transported to the airport which made us easy. The pilots were exceptional and the hour-long flight was stunning. The commentary was informative. On landing we were met with by 3 people that accompanied us on the hike, and they were brilliant. The walk is easy, only about 3k return and they provide really interesting facts on the surrounding. The Bungle Bungles are out of this world. We would highly recommend.

4.00Experience was wonderful…only downside was the very hot heat conditions during the walk. Length of stay and tour guide Mellissa was excellent sharing her knowledge and very accommodating on our hike. Flight experience and commentary was fabulous. Pickup and drop off included to our accommodation. 👍

5.00We went on Bungle Bungle Domes and Cathedral tour. It was absolutely amazing. The flight was in Sam's control describing what we flying over, he made it a very comfortable flight. Matt took us on the bus tour to visit Cathedral Gorge. We had a 3 kilometre return walk with Matt informing us on many things to look at. With a return flight then dropped off by bus to our accommodation.
