Experience Purnululu by air with Aviair and then by ground to appreciate the vast, rugged beauty of this World Heritage-Listed National Park. Your scenic flight will take you over Lake Argyle and the Bungle Bungle Range where you will land. Your flight will be met by a guide who will take you by 4WD to the Bungle Bungle Range. You will then embark on a moderate 3km walk which takes in Piccaninny Creek, the beehive shaped sandstone domes and Cathedral Gorge. You are provided with a small cooler bag to carry your tasty picnic lunch in the shade of the gorge. Your flight home flies over the fascinating Argyle Diamond Mine where rare pink diamonds are mined.

What To Expect
Bungle Bungle Range
You will be met at the airstrip by your tour guide, board the air-conditioned 4WD for your short drive to the start of the walk. Enjoy a moderate 3km walk which takes in Piccaninny Creek, the beehive shaped sandstone domes and the jaw dropping Cathedral Gorge. You are provided with your lunch in a cooler bag to be carried on the walk which you get to enjoy in the shade of Cathedral Gorge. Throughout your walk your guide will point out local wildlife and flora and fauna.
Cathedral Gorge
Enjoy a moderate 3km walk which takes in Piccaninny Creek, the beehive shaped sandstone domes and the jaw dropping Cathedral Gorge. You are provided with your lunch in a cooler bag to be carried on the walk which you get to enjoy in the shade of Cathedral Gorge.

5.00Amazing views got the back seat on the way there. Great spot to take photos over Lake Argyle and the landscape. Pilot was great with stories of the area and the things we went over. Got the front behind the pilot luck shot again. She inform us about the mines and what we could see. First time in a plane that size. All good. We went up we come down no dramas

5.00WOW! What an amazing day. Pick up at the doorstep. Up in the air in a short time. Fantastic views over Lake Argyle and the landscape was beautiful. Great start to the day. The guided tour walk was brilliant and the guides knowledge was great. We toke our time got some wonderful photos. Enjoyed every moment of the plane ride and the tour. I have given a score of 5, unfortunately there is something that put a damper on the day. LUNCH. Very very underwhelming and very disappointed. Yes fresh tasty At the price for the day $999 I and other felt like we had be charged lobster price and got potato cake and dim sims First dish it was a zucchini slice with different veggies. The size of a 5cm² Salad was lettuce red capsicum baby tomatoes and cucumber and a hint of dressing Couscous l don't like it so that on me Cake slice mandarin flavour 5cm² And the smallest fruit platter i have seen And on top of that $6 for a can of coke(should be in the price me thinks) Not good enough people Ok we got 15% off for second last one for the year. Thank you for that. So did that mean the food went down in size for that discount. I do not want to hear but it's a rural location, you have been doing this gig for years. I worked hospitality so not. As you can see I am disappointed with lunch Doing the Bungle Bungle is a bucket list thing for me and I am so grateful to have done it. The company needs to get everything right not 85%, it should be 100% at that price. Do it better in the future Regards Dann PS please have your front of house staff shower before the shift. I know bed hair when I see it and we have no idea where there hands have been in there sleep if you get my drift.

5.00The flight out and back was very good and we saw the magnitude of the Bungle Bungles and the Agyle Lake. Our guide Matt was outstanding. He gave us an excellent commentary during our walk. The only slight negative was the provided lunch which was underwhelming.

4.00Very nice flight, Pilot was great. Being a larger group, the "caravan" plane was used. You seriously need to consider headsets as the commentary is garbled. It really spoilt the flight. In fact, no commentary would have been preferred by many. Sorry, I know I am not the first person to raise this issue, here's hoping you take notice.

5.00Amazing day. Clint the pilot was great as I joint him in the cockpit for both flights. Jodi the tour guide was exceptional and the Bungle Bungles are gob smacking. We also flew over Lake Argyle and the Argyle diamond mine

5.00We are still talking about this awesome experience. Amazing! Sam (our Pilot) was funny, informative and easy to understand. Elisa (our guide) put us all at ease explaining what we were about to do, she was so knowledgeable and super friendly, also doubling up as a brilliant photographer. Cory (our bus driver and guide) provided his cultural experience as well as much welcomed cold towels after the hot walk. He got hugs for that! This part of the world is so ancient and unique.
