Experience Purnululu by air with Aviair and then by ground to appreciate the vast, rugged beauty of this World Heritage-Listed National Park. Your scenic flight will take you over Lake Argyle and the Bungle Bungle Range where you will land. Your flight will be met by a guide who will take you by 4WD to the Bungle Bungle Range. You will then embark on a moderate 3km walk which takes in Piccaninny Creek, the beehive shaped sandstone domes and Cathedral Gorge. You are provided with a small cooler bag to carry your tasty picnic lunch in the shade of the gorge. Your flight home flies over the fascinating Argyle Diamond Mine where rare pink diamonds are mined.

A fantastic tour filled with amazing aerial and ground views of this unreal landscape, informative commentary throughout, high quality and environmentally friendly lunch and snacks, and we even saw a croc from the skies. Pilot Peter was full of knowledge and smooth landings, and guide Gabriel kept us laughing and learning. The team were always engaged and safety/guest comfort was a high priority. A very impressive tour, thanks guys!

Highlights were 1. The flight to and from with pilot Will - great views, and informative. commentary. And 2. Our on-the-ground guide Fred was extremely helpful, courteous and informative and knowledgeable. Fred guided us to Cathedral Gorge at the steady pace with plenty of rest and water breaks. Plus lunch was tasty and plenty of extra water available. I would highly recommend this tour and hope you get Will as the pilot and Fred as your on the ground guide.

Wow!!! Aviair are a very professional outfit with highly skilled pilots and staff. Could not fault the flight experience. Loved the view of Lake Argyle from the air. Fred the Frenchman was our tour guide who took us to Cathedral Gorge was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. We included a 30 minute helicopter flight to top it off. The Bungle Bungles occupies 450 square kilometres and the view from the helicopter was unforgettable. The flight back took us over the now closed Argyle diamond mine and saw the various crops of mango and sandlewood plantations. Would not have missed this experience for the world.
