A fun and authentic burek experience

5.00We did the burek masterclass yesterday and had a great time. The instructors actually ran the class just for the two of us, which was really generous and made it very relaxed. They were incredibly friendly and patient and shared lots of helpful tips on stretching and working the jufka (dough) so we can recreate it at home. After the class the restaurant baked the burek for us. It turned out delicious and made for a great dinner with a salad and some drinks. They also shared photos, videos and several traditional Bosnian recipes with us afterwards. A really fun and relaxing evening activity to do in Mostar and a great way to learn about traditional Bosnian food.

3.00It was fun to try with a fun crowd of strangers. It was very nice that we all sat together afterwards and enjoyed the Burek together. Note that Burek takes 45 minutes to cook which is waiting time after learning to make it. This is a good option to have dinner in a different way.

5.00This was the best time! Very informative and personal. I’m vegetarian and she gave me the yummiest pumpkin substitute. Bar available if you want some drinks throughout the class. Such a great experience!

1.00We arrived at the restaurant at the correct time, but the person who was supposed to host us wasn’t there. The restaurant manager said he knew of a class taking place in the evening, but none was planned for the morning. Our tickets stated 10:30am, so we were very disappointed.
