For cruise schedules with shorter port stays, the tour will be comfortably arranged to ensure your return to the cruise terminal gate one hour before the ship’s departure. Your guide will adjust the itinerary with you on the tour day to make the most enjoyable and efficient use of the available time.
What To Expect
Haedong Yonggungsa is a breathtaking temple located on the coast of Busan, making it one of the most unique temples in South Korea. Founded in 1376, this temple stands out from others that are typically nestled in the mountains, as it is situated right by the sea, offering a completely different atmosphere. The temple's name, which translates to "East Sea Dragon Palace Temple," is rooted in a legend that a dragon ascended from the sea to bring divine energy to the area. One of the temple's most captivating features is the harmonious blend of the temple's architecture with the stunning coastal scenery. To reach the temple, visitors must descend 108 steps, and as they do, they are greeted by a breathtaking view of the sea. Haedong Yonggungsa is especially famous as a prime spot to watch the sunrise, with many visitors arriving early in the morning to witness the spectacular scene of the sun rising over the East Sea, casting its golden light over the temple.
This place, known as 'Hanok', is the epitome of traditional Korean architecture's beauty in Busan. Great Busan tour for new comers in a small private group

5.00The driver, Roy, was very accommodating to customize our tour according to our needs. He was very knowledgeable about the city and navigated thru the streets well. He was helpful to one the members in our group who was in a wheelchair. He visited all the sites we wanted and return us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare.

5.00Excellent tour with Jenny. There were three couples from our cruise ship the Crystal Symphony. Pick up was right on time. We were warned that the immigration at Busan port would take a while. But it was very fast. Jenny took us on a tour that included a Buddhist temple, the UN cemetery, swinging the bridge. Then a delicious Korean barbecue lunch, which was on our own tab. But the price was reasonable for two people, including one beer at 36 US. Then we proceeded to go to a culture village that was interesting and part of the tour. We arrived back at the ship in plenty of time for departure at 6:30. I highly recommend this tour and if Jenny is your driver, she communicates very well in English. You won’t be disappointed.

5.00We had a great day in Busan with Seb. His tour was entertaining, efficient and safe as we drove around town in a new van. He delivered fun facts about Busan and South Korea thru an interactive conversation between guests, himself and his AI alter ego SEB II. He was flexible on sights to visit based on our request, keeping in mind our time constant due to an all aboard time on our cruise ship. We highly recommend this tour to visitors in Busan.

5.00Jenny was our tour guide for the day. She was a great guide. As we rode along to our stops she would provide a lot of information about the sights and also about Busan and Korea. Her command of the English language was very good. She was easy to understand. She was flexible and gave us choices. Her communication before the tour was very good. No problems with the pick up. She was a very safe driver and did an excellent job parking the vehicle. LOL! We highly recommend this tour and absolutely recommend Jenny as a guide.

5.00We had a great day touring with Leo. He drove us around in a very comfortable van. He loved taking pictures for us and became our photographer for the day. We went to the shrine where there was a celebration of Buddha’s birthday…. the tallest building in Busan with great views… a traditional Korean lunch.. local market. He was totally concerned for our well being and comfort… highly recommend!

5.00Finn was at the cruise terminal ready to be our guide and driver for the day. There were 6 guests oi total, so it was a small, easy to manage group. Finn was friendly and personable and he gave us lots of information. His English was good and he was easy to understand. We went at a reasonable pace, not too fast, not too slow and we had about the right amount of time in each location. I would recommend this tour if you are in good health and don't have any mobility issues as there are steep slopes and steps throughout.
