Studio W.I.P. by Native 312 Events offers a unique spin on BYOB paint night! Join us as we host an intimate look into the world of Street Art as we learn about some different styles and techniques with guest artists. Then you get your hands dirty as you walk around our gallery setting and test out your skills in different mediums like aerosol spray and stencil. At the end of your workshop you will be able to go home with your own piece of art!

Looking for a fun and unique way to tap into your creativity? Well, get ready to grab some spray paint and unleash your inner street artist with Studio W.I.P. Chicago. This interactive workshop will allow you the opportunity to explore the in's and out's of working with spray paint and other elements of Street Art. Not the most creatively inclined person? Have no fear, this workshop will be curated by Studio W.I.P. artists. Also BYOB! Best of all, at the end of the workshop you get to choose mini-canvas from the communal wall to take home with you! 5.00Camile was a great instructor and had such a good vibe. Learned some really helpful techniques from him ( creating text, drip, splatter and overlay/drop shadow) that were easy to incorporate into our work. We also had a minute to practice on the walls. They had canvases prepared and a ton of spray paint colors to share with the group. In addition to that there were a lot of stencils to choose from. I would only say that there needs to be better ventillation. But other than that, it was a great experience and we would definitely do it again!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! will definitely be returning :)

5.00It was awesome!!! Jason the instructor was amazing and lovely to talk to. My girlfriend and I had an absolute blast getting the freedom to make whatever we wanted. We both loved graffiti before and were so excited to come to the class, it fulfilled and exceeded our expectations :) 100% will be returning!!

4.00I don’t know why I didn’t think about it but people visiting should probably be reminded to wear things that they aren’t afraid to get paint on. I thought it was a fun activity and a worthwhile way to spend time. The instructor was kind and showed us various techniques. Good time.
