What To Expect

A tandem sky dive is the perfect introduction to sky diving and what better place to do it then the tropical paradise of Far North Queensland. Your highly trained instructor will give you a brief 15-minute safety and training session before you strap on your parachute and get ready for the flight of your life. Soaring to a height of up to 15,000ft, the drop zone is located between the reef and the rainforest for the best aerial views of Tropical North Queensland. Feel the exhilaration of a short freefall before the parachute is released and you float gently to the ground. Nestled between the world-famous Great Barrier Reef and World Heritage listed rainforests, the views over Cairns are nothing short of spectacular. To the north lies the ancient Daintree Rainforest, to the west the Atherton Tablelands. The blue waters of the Coral Sea lie to the west, with Great Barrier Reef islands including Green Island and Fitzroy Island visible just off the coast. There's no better way to see the natural beauty of the whole area in such a short time. Photos and videos of your sky dive are available to purchase on the day, and roundtrip transport from Cairns hotels is included.

My initial trip was cancelled due to weather. Fortunately, I managed to find time for me to postpone and squeeze into my itinerary. And I am glad that I did it. It was the most exciting thing I had ever done. The crew were friendly and able to calm me (who have a phobia of heights). Whole event was quite fast but it was something that i will remember for the rest of my life. I am glad I went ahead, despite my phobia of heights. Earned some bragging rights for doing this.

This was my first time doing a tandem sky dive and I am so glad I did it with this company. I came to the sky dive with my husband (who is a thrill seeker and has done ski diving before). The company arranged for a shuttle bus to take us from our hotel to the sky dive centre. Then we were able to watch an introductory video. We then met our sky dive experts. My Sky dive expert was Josh and he made me feel completely at ease. Josh talked me through the safety steps to take and kept me at ease. We got into the shuttle bus to the air strip and before I knew it, I was jumping out the plane. The company follows safety guidance strictly without spoiling the thrill and excitement of the activity. Josh captured a video of our whole interaction from the dive centre right until we landed. I highly recommend using this company for doing your sky dives!!!

Sam was amazing! He made sure I was calm throughout and the entire trip from take off to the jump to the landing was perfect! I felt very safe and was not afraid at all! Highly recommend! A small note the operator might change the timing of the jump so you need to keep that in mind while booking!

Most amazing "tour" ever - handled by Skydive Australia c",) The crew in Cairns is utmost professional, you feel safe at all times, and the experience is simply mind blowing. I thought this would be a once-in-a-lifetime for me... but is now searching for options on how to skydive again - first tandem again, but later solo... If you are considering - then DO IT!!!

What a great experience! We were both quite nervous as this was our first ever sky dive but Trip and Ben both put our minds at ease! They were both hilarious and we felt very safe with them! The whole experience was well organised & we are so glad we did it! Photos and videos are a must!

Absolutely amazing experience with an amazing company. From the moment you set foot in the main office to the big skydive itself the staff put you at ease. The skydivers were absolutely brilliant. You have to try this it is amazing and a feeling you can't get from anything else. Make sure you buy the video and picture package well worth the money.
