The Pyramids Of Giza
Cairo Layover Tour Starts and Ends in Cairo Airport .GEM Explore Egyptologist will be waiting outside the arrival lounge(Not inside) as per requested pick up time to start your Journey across Cairo heading to the Great Pyramids of Giza where you will enjoy The pyramid of King Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Then, the tour will continue by vising the Valley Temple of Khafre, where is located the reception of the royal body of Khafre. The Valley Temple was built for the process of mummification of King Khafre. Finally, you will have a close-up look of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a body of a lion and the head of King Khafre. (please note that entering the pyramids from inside requires a special ticket, the guide will be happy to assist).
The Great Pyramid of Khufu
Khufu's pyramid is the only wonder of the ancient seven wonders still remains and standing today!! the highest building on earth for more than 3800 Years, the complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated yet, with your advanced Egyptologist you will be able to explore the entire area.

5.00Where do I start! It was a truly wonderful experience and could not have been better! Our guide for the pyramids was Donia, she was lovely, her knowledge vast and her company was excellent! We also visited the citadel with her too, like I said before we could not have wished for more! Our guide for the Egyptian and civilisation museums was Ahmed Nagy, it was like having an extended family member guide us around, he made sure we had the best photo ops and was always helpful and knowledgeable about all things. We also took a boat ride at sunset which was awesome. The highlight with Ahmed was at the bazaar, he took great care of us (especially my mother whom he treated as his own) words don’t do justice to the ease with which everything happened! We miss them both and if carlsberg made guides they would make these two!! I wouldn’t use anyone else, and I will recommend them to all who wish to travel to Cairo in the future! Thank you to them both, they made our trip a truly once in a lifetime experience. Thank you 💜

5.00I did the day tour of the pyramids, sphinx, market, and museum. My guide was Wael Saber who provided information in English on all the history. I really enjoyed the tour and was able to see and experience the main sights around Cairo. I highly recommend this tour and guide, Wael Saber.

5.00What a lovely day and fabulous experience on this tour. My wife and I were met by Ali who looked after us throughout our day and was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and we learnt so much about the history of ancient Egypt whilst having so much fun at the same time! After an exciting morning at the pyramids we were taken for a lovely lunch and were able to visit some local sites before wondering around the treasure trove of bazaars that Old Cairo has to offer. The final destination for the day was The Egyptian Museum which was a perfect end to our day. I often struggle a little with museums but visiting as part of the tour was great. Ali took us to visit all of the highlights and key exhibits before we had time to wonder alone and take our time to explore ourselves. Any advice for future travellers??… don’t hesitate and book this tour!!

5.00We had an amazing day with our tour guide Ali and car driver fatota. Ali was so friendly and knowledgeable. They both have kind hearts. We felt safe all day. Ali’s English is fantastic. So many historical facts. So much time to explore and take fun pictures. I would recommend for anyone. Thank you for this once in a lifetime experience❤️

5.00Amazing tour! If you are looking for a one day tour in Cairo this is the one! Wael was such a wonderful tour guide, friendly, approachable and went out of his way all day to ensure we were happy. He knew everything you needed to know and made it fun with his story telling. For lunch he took us to a local Egyptian restaurant which was lovely, with friendly staff. Wael was not only a tour guide but a photographer - taking lots of pictures of us at the best spots throughout the day. 100% would recommend to book this tour!

5.00Maged was great. Whereas we hired a guide in Luxor and regretted it thinking we could have guided ourselves just as well if not better, it was not so in Cairo with GEM. Maged was great with guiding us around crowds where possible, taking us into areas we never would have known about, and giving us the history we cared to hear about. He was patient with my picky requests, and never once showed annoyance or made me feel uncomfortable like some other guides did. A+, no regrets, thank you for the amazing service! We hired him for 4 different days, every chance we had while in Cairo :)

5.00Ali was very knowledgeable and helpful, he didnt rush at anywhere though he gave us plenty of time to explore and he also helped us taking pics, i really recommend this. Before going to cairo i was nervous hearing scam stories but ali has changed my perspective of thinking. It was safe and great experience. He even guided where to shop and where to avoid. I like history and Ali surprised me with his knowledge. I recommend this tour.
