What To Expect

Nile River

Start your tour from anywhere in Cairo or Giza Sun Pyramids Tours Representative will pick you up from your Hotel and then drive to reach to Kayak club then you will have about 15 minutes briefing session then you will start the amazing Kayak tour ride on the Nile river it is available only on Fridays and Saturdays 7:00 am to 5:00 pm If you have never tried kayaking, you still can join the club. “We accept beginners as well as people with a background in kayaking. Beginners will be given a briefing session and escorted by one of our trainers in their kayaks. Note : For pick up / drop off form Cairo airport, Sphinx airport, New Administrative Capital, New Cairo, Helioplis, Badr City, Shorouk, Rehab, Obour, Sheraton Almatar, Sheikh Zayed city, Ring Rd, Mirage City, Meridian Airport or Madinty City will be for additional cost.

We had a wonderful experience with Sun Pyramids Tours. When I enquired about 1 day private tour, Menna was very helpful and catered all our request and provided a very reasonable and cost effective tour plan. She was also very responsive even after work hours and during the weekends. She also made sure we provided her accurate flight arrival information to ensure we would be picked up at the airport. The private tour was excellent. Our tour guide Mohamed and driver Ahmed were very friendly and helpful. They accommodated our need during the entire trip. Mohamed was very knowledgeable and provided very detailed and useful information about the history of The Cave Church, Bent Pyramid, Red Pyramid, Coptic Cairo and Memphis. He also helped us to deal with those persistent street sellers. I am so grateful for the helps from Menna, Mohamed and Ahmed. A BIG Thank you to you all.

We had an amazing time on this tour! Alaa communicated with us so well on the details of pickup and drop off and it helped make the experience seamless! She was so helpful and a great guide. Our guide on the Nile, Gouda, was fantastic and so experienced!

A really excellent time. Our guide Mohab Ahmed was excellent and we both found the time both interesting and fun. The kayak captain Goida was fantastic and. Really looked after us. And our driver Ramadan was very safe. We would thoroughly recommend. It was a very good experience, and thank you again!

Mohab Ahmed is a very attentive tour guide. He knows lots of things. Kayaking on the Nile River is very beautiful. Captain Mohammad is very professional at his job. The scenery is breathtaking, and the experience is truly unforgettable. As solo female traveler I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone visiting the area.

Today our group, toured with Mahmoud Emam, the pyramids, Saqqura, and the New Cairo museum. Mahmoud besides being a great guy, was very knowledgeable about each site. He was generous with our many questions. He took several photos with great poses and attention to background details. He arranged a wonderful vegetarian meal in a local spots. The atmosphere, including the cool environment was just what we needed. I recommend Mahmoud without reservation. Oh also our great driver, nicknamed Vin Diesel, it was fun all the way around.

Abdulrahman Mosbah (Abody) was amazing showing me key points of interest to and from the kayak club and even gave me additional information on activities outside of Cairo, as well as an insight into Egyptian home/family life. Clearly a passionate person who loves his country and what he does, he is a real asset! I would love to do another tour with him as a guide if not on this trip (as my last day) then definitely on my return to cairo. The kayak itself is with the incredible captain Gouda (who is also very experienced as he coaches the national team and lots of youths). The views are of course stunning and captain Gouda makes sure you see the best of it (even giving you a tow in the parts with string current) and takes the best photos to ensure you capture the memory. Captain Gouda also made it very fun by playing music and ensured you had time to lay back and relax in the kayak as the gentle current pushes you down the Nile as Cairo slowly pashes by. Overall a wonderful activity I highly recommended. Thanks again Abody and Captain Gouda!
