Cameron Falls Trail
Cameron Waterfalls We will enjoy a 45-minute drive along the historic Ingraham Trail. The hike into the falls is approximately 20 minutes. Moderate physical fitness is required. We are climbing large rock surfaces, and there are some steep inclines to tackle. Most all hikers can do the hike and can be taken at a very leisurely pace. The well-marked trail leads you to the spectacular waterfall of the Cameron River cascading 17 vertical meters. We may encounter spruce grouse, whiskey jacks, (gray jays), snowshoe hares. In addition, enjoy serene beauty of the wilderness. The tour is approximately 3.5 hours which includes transfer to and from the waterfalls (about 2 hours driving). We provide bug repellant, water and bear bangers for the hike. Tour is offered May 15 to Sep 15th. We do not offer the tour during the winter season. Cost per person $95.00 plus GST.

Tracy is a very personable, knowledgeable and entertaining host who evidently enjoys the work she does. She went the extra mile to ensure her guests had the best experience possible. I went on both the hiking tour to Cameron Falls as well as the Bison Highway tour both tours were hosted by Tracy. All aspects of these tours were well coordinated and executed.

I only had a day in Yellowknife and the half day tour I took was perfect. We did a 25-30 min hike up to Cameron Falls (and then down again) on a beautiful August morning. No bugs at all, but our guide brought bug spray and water. Then, a quick tour of town with some history of the area given by a charming host. Highly recommended!
