5.00My husband and I had the most incredible and lovely experience! Our tour guide,Pi, was truly exceptional! She spoke wonderful English and made our whole day from the floating market to the rice noodle factory to cacao garden to the fruit garden truly an amazing experience that we will always cherish! The entire day was quite memorable, but our favorite memory of the day is the floating market! We had noodle soup and coconut water on the boat and got to visit one of the local boats and mingle with the local people! Our boat handler was incredibly hard working and we enjoyed every minute of the local experience!

The guide shared interesting stories and useful information about local life and traditions, which made the experience more engaging. The floating market itself is quieter than expected, but still worth seeing as part of the Mekong Delta experience. A special highlight was the pho soup at the market – very tasty and authentic. Overall, a nice and informative tour.

5.00We loved learning about the life of the local people and the boat trip along the river. We went to the early morning floating river, a cacao plantation and a bio diverse farm, plus visited a local family boat on the river. A was very kind and her English was great. Boat driver Phuong knew the river and had an infectious smile. We were glad we took this tour (which was very small-only 3 of us). Booking a local company with local people was a highlight. Thanks An and Phuong.

5.00This trip is relaxing, fun and educational all at the same time. Our guide Mr. Chris “Rooster” seems to know everyone in the village and it’s heartwarming to hear and observe how the local community helps each other. Our captain is so experienced that we didn’t feel any motion sickness despite the somewhat bumpy water. This trip is a great way to support the disappearing floating market as a tourist.

5.00We had a fantastic Mekong Delta tour today with our guide An from Mekong Smile Company. Early in the morning we were picked up at our hotel and taken by boat to the floating market. An not only explained the culture but also organized Vietnamese coffee, snacks, and drinks for us directly from the local boats. We even had the chance to board a trader’s boat and see how people live there. Afterwards, we visited a cacao farm and a fruit farm where we could try plenty of delicious things. An was always ready to answer all our questions and shared so many interesting insights about the Mekong Delta, the people, and the culture. She also made sure that vegetarians were well taken care of, which we really appreciated. What made the experience even more special was that An took photos of us as a memory, and the stops never felt like “tourist traps” – nobody pushed us to buy anything. We felt welcome and comfortable the whole time and could really immerse ourselves in the local life. We can highly recommend this tour – thank you so much, An!
