Small group tour utilising a comfortable and well maintained mini bus. Our driver was also our guide for the whole days. He was excellent in every respect and his breadth of knowledge was very impressive and we were fed with lots of information relevant to the tour and as the majority of the participants were overseas visitors we also learnt a lot about Australia and how it functions. We visited all the places listed in the programme, although we didn't have anything like enough time at the individual stops. Most of the places visited we explored on our own. But we were taken into each into building by our guide, who would explain what was where and suggested areas we should perhaps not miss etc. At the Parliament House, which is absolutely vast, and which we could not have navigated on our own, he took us round and ensured that we saw all that was to be seen, and we came away almost reeling with the amount of descriptive and factual information we had been given. The was a break midway on the outward and return journeys with enough time to use the toilets and maybe have a coffee. Thie roadside services selected were first class in all respects. Although it was a long day, it was an excellent day excursion to get an overview of Canberra and one that l am most happy to recommend to others.

Good quick trip to Canberra if you don’t want to spend too long visiting the city but would like to say you’ve been to the capital of Australia. Our guide Fernando was really friendly and nice. He offered to take photos which was really nice if you’re travelling solo as sometimes you miss out. The journey to and from Canberra was long (4 hours) but the time passed quickly with a little sleep and stopping half way at the pie shop for coffee and pie. Overall a good day out to see the highlights of Canberra. Very glad I did it. 👍🏼

Guilherme was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. While it is a very long day, the pacing was perfect. We had plenty of time at each of the stops without feeling like we were anywhere unnecessarily long. Guilherme was excellent at explaining the significance of what we were seeing. The bathroom/coffee stop in each direction on the drive from Sydney was well timed. The lunch spot at the National Museum had good food choices as well.

I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed with the historic introduction about every site we visited including about the history of Canberra, about the museums. His personal tour of the Parliament was outstanding. I have even seen such an informative tour in all my experience with Viator tours. It was unfortunate I did not have any cash to tip the guide. It is even amazing to know he was originally from Brazil.!

This is a day-long tour that allows you to see three key public buildings including the Parliament. Canberra is primarily a "government" city with little else. Therefore, any tour around town will be limited to government facilities. The views from Mount Ainslie are gorgeous. And, the Parliament is a beautiful building. Our tour guide Mark was excellent, very informative, and managed things very well. It's definitely the type of tour to do when one has visited Sydney and seen most of the city.

The war memorial and the parliament were very interesting. But I am not satisfied with the experience because the stop at the national museum didn’t happen, even though was listed in the itinerary. The afternoon was instead spent entirely on the bus, driving around golf courses and embassies.

The trip to Canberra, was truly fascinating and absolutely worth it. The city itself is full of important historical and political landmarks. Visiting places like Parliament House, the Museum of Australia, and the Australian War Memorial made the experience both educational and inspiring. A special mention goes to our guide, Mark (if I remember his name correctly). He was absolutely wonderful. He explained everything in such an engaging and structured way. His storytelling was very clear and informative. For someone like me, whose native language is not English, his pronunciation was fantastic. He spoke clearly, at a perfect pace, and I understood everything he said without any difficulty. That made the experience even more enjoyable and comfortable. Overall, the trip was extremely interesting and definitely worth it. I would highly recommend it.
