Rocky Creek is one of the most magnificent Blue Mountains canyons and is regarded by insiders as a 'must do'. A short 10-minute walk leads you to Twister Canyon. After wetsuits are fitted the fun begins. This canyon is also known as Sheep Dip. You literally jump into a pool, swim across and slide or jump into the next one for a total of 8 pools. It’s drenching! We then exit the canyon and follow a trail for 30 minutes through a spectacular valley lined with tree ferns and arrive at the start of Rocky Creek where we have our famous lunch. This canyon is of a completely different nature, with 50+ metre-high walls towering overhead. Many tunnel swims, waterfall scrambles and rock slides take us to the sunshine at the end where we reverse this canyon to the start. From here a 30-minute walk takes us back to the vehicles.

We had a fantastic time canyoning with High and Wild Australian Adventures! This experience offered a thrilling way to explore the Blue Mountains. The entire adventure was very well-organized, and we always felt completely safe, thanks to our knowledgeable and supportive guide. Whenever the going got tough, our guide was right there to help us. If you're reasonably fit and seeking an exciting challenge, we highly recommend this experience. It’s an adventure you won’t forget! We’re already looking forward to returning for another adventure with the team.

This was an excellent experience. The canyons were fun and spectacular, and our guide was really good, giving the group lots of extra information about the geology and fauna. The walk out is quite a challenge but I cannot recommend this enough. A really spectacular day out.

We had an amazing experience with Ben and Arnod. We had a mixed aged group but the care and attention of Ben and Arno made us feel safe. It is quite challenging but rewarding. Canyons are amazing and water slides and jumps are great. There are alternatives to the jumps for those who are more timid. We just had the best day and highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic time canyoning with Arno and Narissa as our guides. It was a really exciting trip with incredible scenery and exciting experiences along the way. The wetsuits and thermals (plus booties) kept us dry and warm. The lunch was delicious too!
