What To Expect
Bled is an ideal location for canyoning. This is the only way to explore two beautiful alpine rivers, rivers Jerečica and Grmečica. You will start your adventure from Lake Bled with a scenic drive through the countryside. In the middle of the road to Bohinj Lake, you will arrive at the entrance of the canyon, surrounded by pure, intact nature. Before we begin the canyoning adventure, you will change your clothes into canyoning equipment (wetsuits, socks, and shoes) and then start an hour-and-a-half-long adrenaline adventure. You will experience: -climbing, -jumping, -swimming, -rappelling, -sliding down the canyon, -relaxed floating on the river Sava Bohinjka. -and last but not least, jumping from the bridge. You can relax completely into this wild experience and enjoy it in the safety of our guide's hands. There is more than one high jump, the highest being 10 m. However, don’t be afraid, if you don’t want to jump, our guides will lower you down with a rope. After approximately 1 hour* in the canyon, you return and change your clothes, and the guide takes you back to Bled.

5.00Jerry (owner) was one of my guides for canyoning. He and his colleague (whose name I unfortunately forget) were both beyond amazing! I had never been canyoning before and had some trepidations going into the excursion, but wanted to challenge myself. Once I was with them, never once did I feel unsafe. It was exhilarating, beautiful and I enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend Altitude Activities!

5.00We liked it a lot. I didnt know what to expect because I have never been canyoning before. the terrain was easy to navigate through with the help of our guide. The guides are experienced pros and you can trust them with your life. The length of the canyon is fine, not too long not too short with enough time to rest in between jumps, slides traverses and rappels. We thought the water would be cold (in April) but with the wetsuit provided it was pleasant.

You can tell they genuinely care about making sure everyone has a good time. The canyon itself was beautiful, and the final section was definitely the highlight—absolutely amazing and worth it. Overall, everything was well organized, fun, and memorable. Highly recommend this experience if you’re in the area!
