What To Expect
Canyoning Level 2 is designed for those who have a bit of experience or have completed Level 1 and are looking to elevate their adventure. Set against the more challenging terrains of Madeira's rugged landscapes, this level introduces higher technical elements and more demanding obstacles. Participants will encounter steeper descents, larger waterfalls, and more complex jumps and abseils. This course is perfect for adventurers seeking to enhance their skills and push their limits in a controlled and exhilarating environment. • Advanced Waterfalls: Tackle larger and more challenging waterfalls that require more technical skills. • Longer Abseils: Master the technique of longer abseils, including descents that are significantly more thrilling than those in Level 1. • Complex Jumps: Take on more complex and higher jumps that add to the excitement and challenge of the course. • Enhanced Navigation: Navigate through more intricate canyon paths that demand better coordination and problem-solving skills.

5.00Beto & Afonso were incredible guides on the Level II Canyoning in Curral das Freiras! We had a family group of 7 people and they did an amazing job. They were professional, safety oriented and extremely fun. I absolutely recommend going canyoning with them. They helped us create family memories we will never forget!

5.00AMAZING TIME!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you re looking for a great day of physical activity and adventure! Beto and Vitor were so professional and fun at the same time. Professional in the sense that they very clearly explained everything we needed to know and we felt very safe. Fun in the sense that they were happy and upbeat and joked with us the whole time. We smiled and laughed through the entire experience. From canyoning (we call it rappelling in America), to swimming, to cliff jumping, the day was filled with adrenaline and we loved it. Only negative - there are no toilets, even at the beginning and end of the adventure. So when you leave your house to head to the location, from then on, nature is your restroom. At the very end, we were given a Snickers bar and bottle of water so bring snacks to eat on the way back down if you tend to get hungry. Loved this adventure!!!

Our guides Tomas ( Tomato ) and Beto were mega – funny, attentive and always made sure of clear announcements so that you felt safe at all times. Especially great: Many photos were taken, of the whole group and on request also of each one individually. 5.00An amazing day with Alex and Tomas. Picked up from our hotel on time and 20 minutes later we are at Valley of the Nuns getting ready for our tour. 12 people on our tour with two guides Alex and Tomas. About a 15 min hike to the first of 7 waterfalls. This was my first time and I was well taken care of. A was a bit scared at first but I never felt unsafe. They carry a go pro so you get to see pictures by the end of the day. It was a perfect day. Ask for Alex and Tomas as they were professional but so fun. Looks like they love their jobs!
