The Cove is also notorious for its braai/barbecue areas. Maiden’s Cove has a lush grassy area, massive boulders, perfect for a braai, picnic or sunset watching. Dolphins can often be spotted frolicking in the water; it’s also fantastic for whale watching (June-November). This tour was the perfect blend of nature, wildlife, and scenic beauty. The Cape of Good Hope felt like standing at the edge of the world. I especially loved the peaceful walk down to the penguin colony. Everything was well-paced and thoughtfully curated.
