The attractive suburbs of Sea Point and Camps Bay quickly give way to quaint villages and fishing harbours backed with magnificent mountains, fringed with sandy beaches.

Visit Good Hope Nature Reserve, home to exotic birdlife, antelope and zebra. Not to mention historic lighthouses and shipwrecks.

Next stop Boulders Beach where you can marvel at the huge colony of penguins, before returning to Cape Town via yet more idyllic villages

Bo-kaap

A short drive takes us to the historic Malay quarter lined with colourful picturesque houses. Enjoy a guided walk along these cobbled streets lined with coloured houses and discover the city’s ancient Muslim traditions.

Clifton Beaches

Continuing along the Atlantic seaboard we stop at Clifton Beaches. Known for its sugar white sand beach. The backdrop here is equally stunning with one of Cape Town’s best known mountains, Lion’s Head, rising up directly behind and the Twelve Apostles looming to the south.

Itchy Feet came highly recommended to us, and they exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Talent, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and went out of his way to ensure we had a good experience. We would definitely use them (and Talent) again.

Kembo is the perfect guide to the Cape Peninsula. He knows all the best spots for photos and for exploring. He is filled with fascinating stories and details about the land, the animals, the history. He is incredibly fun and good natured. Also, he always knows where a nearby bathroom is--an amazing skill. I can't recommend this tour enough!

Kembo was a fabulous guide. He was communicative via WhatsApp in the lead up and picked us up on time, despite our apartment being difficult for other drivers to find. The car was very spacious and comfortable for 5 of us. The coastal drive had some gorgeous, rugged scenery. We stopped at a lovely little farm bakery. Despite the terrible weather, we enjoyed the Cape of Good Hope and the penguins and Kembo accompanied us even when we offered for him to stay out of the rain. Lunch was delicious at the restaurant Kembo booked for us. And he even bought my mum a birthday present and my son a springbok covered book as he loves drawing. Highly recommend Kembo and Itchy Feet Tours.

We spent two days with Kembo on private tours. The first day we visited Bo Kaap, Stellenbosch, and the Cape Winelands, and the second day we toured the Cape Peninsula and saw the penguins. Kembo was an excellent guide, as he was both knowledgeable and personable. He was very accommodating to our pace of touring and interests. We highly recommend him for your Cape Town tours!

I can’t imagine having a better tour guide than Kembo! He is kind, very polite, knowledgeable and fun to be with! He took us to the most beautiful places! His English is impeccable and very easy to understand.

We were very lucky to have Kembo drive us around the Cape Town region, and even more lucky that he was far more than ‘just’ a driver. He was a trusted guide and quickly became a good friend. He designed the perfect 2 days, providing excellent insights into the area as well as the economic environment. Our small group peppered him with questions and he responded with deep knowledge and wit. I noted that his attention to safe driving never wavered despite the frequent questions and traffic. Highly highly recommended.
Trip to the South Western point of S Africa

We had such a great time on our day trip to the southern western most of Cape Town. Kembo gave us lots of local history and answered every crazy question we threw at him. We got to hike up to a lighthouse, we saw beware of Baboon signs, but saw no baboons. Kembo drove us all around the coastal roads including one that is closed every Wednesday for maintenance. A very scenic drive. In short an excellent day.

Kembo is the owner and was also our tour guide. It was a private tour for just the 2 of us in a very spacious vehicle. Kembo was an amazing guide-so knowledgeable, kind and generous. He included various stops for photos/refreshment/restroom breaks that you would not get on one of the large bus tours. The route is spectacular with views of the mountains and the ocean. Highly recommend Kembo and Itchy Feet Tours!!!

The trip was incredible! The two of us went on a private tour, which was very spontaneously tailored to our exact needs! There was a basic itinerary, but it could be adapted to our individual wishes at any time. This meant we were able to do all the must-sees in Cape Town in one day. Thank you!!!
