We loved our sunset tour to Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion! Our driver was very willing, kind and full of interesting stories about the coast. The golden-hour views were absolutely magical, the car was comfortable, and everything felt effortless. The scenery was fantastic.A top choice if you want a relaxed half-day escape from Athens. We loved the seafood restaurant. Thanks Kyriakos we really appreciate. Highly recommended.

Dimitrios is excellent. I went with my friend and he drove both of us around Athens to look at the famous sites in the city. Then he drove along the cape and told us the sites along the way. We stopped by the lake for a little bit and few other view points for photos. We really want to stay for the sunset at the temple of poseidon. He's flexible and we stayed and watch the sunset. We took a lot of pictures with the sunset. It is really nice to see the temple as the sun rays light on it. In summary, Dimitrios is informative and flexible to our schedule.

Dimitrios is an awesome guide. Not only is he a font of historical knowledge but he also offers a unique Greek point of view on Greek history, both ancient and recent. I’m not sure what I enjoyed more, the actual destination or the conversation during the journey. As for the temple site here is a significant amount of colonades, walls and pathways that enable you to put yourself right in the timeframe of the temples heyday. Should you have the pleasure to book with Dimitrios be sure to have him tell you how the Aegean Sea got its name?

The tour guide was very nice but most of the trip was just driving and for the price it seemed to be lackluster. It’s not about the tour guide but the structure of the experience based on the price point.

We booked a trip to Cap Sounion from Athens. Our driver and the owner of the company Demetrious included a stop to swim what we loved. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable regarding history and recent events. We enjoyed a wonderful trip to the temple of Zeus and had a great time.

I had searched online for a short tour to visit the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio at the last minute as it was the day before my departure from Greece. I’m so glad that I found Athens Day Trip Tours. Communication was quick, friendly and responsive. The trip was great! We arranged a day tour for us since we were checking out of our accommodations and our flight was leaving in the evening. Kyriakos picked us up and was a knowledgable and fun guide through Sounion. We all really liked Lake Vouliagmeni and decided to drop a church from the itinerary on the fly and spend some more time their swimming. Kyriakos was accommodating and adaptable. After the temple we had a nice lunch on the beach before returning to the airport for our flight. Definitely one of the most memorable and enjoyable days on our trip. Thanks!

Kyriakos, our tour guide was the best. Super knowledgeable, patient and flexible. He was a great host and showed us many more spots too. We ended with a great meal at a seaside restaurant.

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very flexible with our schedule. You got to see an insider view of the island. A pretty stop to the temple of Poseidon. A good solution to filling your time between flights.
