Had an amazing hike with Jean! He was such a great guide, very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. He made some of the challenging parts of the hike seem easy, he took his time to explain the history of table mountain and the surrounding area.

I had an amazing experience hiking to the top of Table Mountain this morning with my guide Mthunzi. There was nobody else on the tour so we went my speed and climbed in the cool shade of the morning into the “table cloth.” We took as many breaks to catch a breath as well as to take photos as I wanted. It was an incredibly windy morning so the cable car was closed so we had the top almost entirely to ourselves. It is a beautiful spot in the world and an awesome feeling to watch Cape Town, Lion’s Head, and the Twelve Apostles come and go from view through the clouds. Mthunzi is a great guide - he knows the trails well and hikes everyday. He had trekking poles I could have used if I wanted too. I strongly recommend doing this hike to the top of Table Mountain - even if the weather isn’t perfect!
