We didn't know what to expect from this trip. We knew it would be a long day (13 hours in the end). But it was absolutely fantastic. You need to be out that long to see everything we did. Geoff the driver, who was also our guide, spoke throughout the trip about what we could see outside and about the places we visited. His passion shone through and nothing felt contrived. The coach was also comfortable. We visited a wildlife centre at Port Douglas (great to feed the kangaroos, see crocs, Cassowari and friendly parrots). We then went into the Daintree and stopped along the way to see great views. Lunch was really good, better than we expected. Then a quick dip in the water hole which I can definitely recommend. We visited Cape Tribulation beach briefly which was fantastic. The crocodile cruise was also a highlight seeing a baby crocodile and a quick sighting of an adult. Even if you don't see many crocs the boat driver was fun. We then had a boardwalk stroll in the forest. I recommend walking with Geoff again as he showed us so much. It was finished off by ice cream made in the forest. As I said, it was a long day, and there was no time wasting. But we saw so much and I can definitely recommend it

Dom is amazing!! His love for Cairns, the land, nature, history, and attractions is contagious. His passion shines through. He is a natural, funny, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and accommodating. I'm so glad we got to experience this gem with Dom as our tour guide. I can't recommend him enough!! My favorite experience was him showing us all the bugs and insects that he knew as we came across them. Such a treat! The peppermint stick insect is my favorite. We had such an enjoyable experience and appreciate all of Dom's long hours driving (sometimes narrow roads), narrating, and touring with ease.

Dom provided us with an exciting, educational experience. His relevant personal stories and his sensitivity and respect for the world’s oldest rain forest and the animals enhanced our experience.

My wife and I had an excellent day with Tropic Wings. Our guide Ben was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The day was extremely well planned and most enjoyable. We would thoroughly recommend Topic Wings.

We had a fantastic informative day with Lisa. Enjoyed every aspect of the day. We had lots of rain but fortunately we were able to see and do everything Inspite of the rain. The wildlife park guide was informative as was the boat driver on the Daintree River.

On our recent visit to Cairns, we took a Tropic Wings tour to the Daintree Rainforest. WOW! It was amazing, and especially so because of our guide, Dom. The man is an absolute inspiration. He is a walking encyclopedia, and a wonderful storyteller, with a great sense of humor. Loved it! Thank you very much Dom for making this excursion so special.

Our tour guide, Ben, was a great host. He picked us up right on time and kept the tour at a nice pace so that we got to make a few extra quick stops at some scenic views and wildlife locations. He gave an entertaining and informative narration as we went up the beautiful coast and through the agricultural fields. The wildlife center had lots of cool birds, especially the cassowaries, and some very friendly kangaroos for petting. We were fortunate to be on the water tour just after some crocs had their babies, and our captain pulled us up to within a few meters of them. We got some memorable pictures. We enjoyed the lunch, the swimming hole, and the rainforest walk to the beautiful beach.

Lisa was excellent. She gave us good insights into the area. We thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a long journey which takes all day, but it is well worth it.

This experience was truly the best of the best! We saw so many things in one day, never went hungry, and enjoyed unique local ice cream at the end of the day. Lisa was fantastic- very knowledgeable, warm and friendly. She gave everyone hugs as she said goodbye. She made the experience so enjoyable! The wildlife habitat was awesome. Many friendly birds in the multiple aviators. Had the opportunity to feed kangaroos and wallabies! I added on the koala photo (though could’ve done without). The zoo keeper certainly rushed the experience. It was about 30 seconds, possibly less! The weather was perfect and we were able to make a few ‘sneaky’ stops along the way. We were unable to spot an adult crocodile on the river cruise. However, we did see multiple hatchlings! Such a special experience. We even spotted a cassowary and babies in the wild. The boardwalk and beaches were lovely. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend!
