A fun, informative day travelling through aboriginal land and hearing about its history and people whilst exploring some of the amazing places on the east coast! Michael, our guide, was excellent; friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. Day was long, so I’m glad we packed some extra snacks, though the burrito we ordered as part of the package was delicious!

It was a very long day but saw a lot, morning tea wasn’t until 11:30 so good idea to eat some kind of breakfast first. Didn’t get back until 8 pm. But did see lovely sunsets The swim was more like a splash in lovely cool water, but a lot of people of course. Saw a lot!! Ben our driver/guide did his utmost so that we saw and experienced as much as possible. Levi welcomed us explaining a lot about the Indigenous people in this territory. Greatly respected and appreciated the sharing of his culture, including family and himself. He was also pretty funny if you listened closely enough.

Tour guide was great, 5 stars for Ben. The rest typical tourist trap. Hopping from spot to spot short stays/long Waiting time. In between, you get “up-society” everywhere. Wasting it all day long. Would recommend it to travelers ü60.

This is a really long 12 hour day, but you get to see a lot. The rainforest feels like you’re walking in a botanical garden. But be prepared for sudden intense downpours. The highlight of the day was seeing a saltwater croc when we were on the boat. Sambo did a great job of commentary while he was driving. He also showed us interesting things about the plants when we had the guided rainforest walk. Note the last stop for ice cream is not included. You have to pay for your own ice cream. I would recommend this trip for those with stamina that want to see the plants of the rainforest.

Our tour guide was great, no issues with anybody involved in this tour. The only thing that brings this review down for me is that this itinerary really should be a 2 day kind of thing. Please keep in mind when booking this tour that it is a LOT of driving and you don't spend a whole lot of time at each location. By reading the description of this tour, I imagined more time learning about aboriginal culture but because it was so rushed, it was mainly just a "quick look" at everything. The Aboriginal Ceremony was a simple, 1-2 minute walk around a fire pit. It was very cool to be a part of but I imagined more time with the Aboriginal guide and possibly listening to a didgeridoo but that did not happen because of how little time we had. Again, no issues with our tour guide, bus was comfortable and air conditioned but the shear distance between all of these stops makes it so you can't fully appreciate every location.
