This was a great experience. Our tour guide Carlos was very knowledgeable regarding local plants, animals and culture. I highly recommend this tour for a memorable North Queensland experience.

If you are looking to check the boxes and take a pic or two at each site, this is the tour for you, and you will enjoy it more than we did. The sites visited are as advertised but keep in mind that the rainforest walk is in the mossman gorge and not the daintree rainforest. Out of the 12 hr day, in only 45 min you have to cram in a rainforest walk (10 min are guided) and swim in the beautiful and refreshing mossman gorge. And you are reminded repeatedly it is “not the guide’s problem” if you're late and miss the bus. The time that could have been spent in the rainforest is sacrificed for an ice cream stop and time at the beach at cape tribulation, which you cannot swim in. The “wildlife cruise” is solely focused on finding crocodiles and is only one way down the river: bats/birds other animals along the way are not pointed out, and since we only reached at the hottest part of the day we saw one juvenile crocodile the entire time. No wildlife was pointed out the entire drive through the rainforest, except when the guide mentioned he saw butterflies while driving (with no attempt to stop or point them out to us passengers). Learned a lot of interesting facts about sugar and fishing farms along the way, and brief facts about the rainforest as we were driving through. Part of this lower rating is guide-specific which I will not elaborate on since most of you will not have this experience. But to summarize in the guide’s parting words, they “hope you enjoyed the day, if not at least one part or a picture you took.” Mission accomplished.

Mossman gorge is lovely but that’s it, we were only there 20 mins and rushed. The bus had intermittent air con, we underestimated how much we would be on the bus as well which didn’t help everything else was average. Would not recommend it
