We had SO much fun on this tour! First of all, Massimo was the best tour guide. He is hilarious, energetic, and genuinely cares about making sure everyone on his boat (“babá”) is comfortable and having an amazing time. His knowledge of the area is incredible, and we truly can’t say enough good things about him. We were celebrating our honeymoon, and he went completely above and beyond. He surprised us with a bottle of prosecco, offered to take photos for us without us even asking, and even had the other guests move to the back of the boat for just a moment so we could have a sweet honeymoon video and photo. Everyone happily obliged, and it made for such a special memory with everyone involved. We took the 7:45 a.m. departure, and Massimo hustled to get us to the Blue Grotto before the crowds arrived. Unfortunately, the water level was too high to enter, so it was closed due to weather. Obviously, this was completely beyond anyone’s control. Rather than simply moving on, Massimo took us to another smaller blue grotto instead, which was incredible! We also visited the White Grotto, the Green Grotto, the Dolce & Gabbana house, filming locations associated with Johnny Depp, ancient ruins, and several other beautiful spots. You actually get to see even more than what’s listed on the itinerary, which was a wonderful surprise. Since we couldn’t enter the Blue Grotto, we ended up with extra swimming time, which worked out perfectly because it was getting quite warm outside. One tip for future guests: you’ll swim before arriving in Capri, so I’d recommend bringing a beach towel and a few things to freshen up afterward, like a hairbrush, deodorant, leave-in conditioner, and a travel-size perfume or cologne. Also, if you’re wondering, you can absolutely bring a bag on the boat..I had been curious about that before booking. My only small wish is that we had a little more time to explore Capri, but we still had enough time to enjoy lunch, wander through a few shops, and take in the atmosphere. Once we arrived at the port, we took the bus (€3 per person) to the main square, which took only about seven minutes. We took a taxi back down because it was hot and we wanted to get back quickly, but walking (about 17 minutes) is also an option. When Massimo picked us up from Capri, he greeted us with fun music and a plate of fresh fruit. The pineapple was delicious and refreshing after a hot afternoon. On the cruise back to Sorrento, we stopped at a few more scenic spots, and Massimo shared his homemade limoncello. After spending several days in Sorrento, including visiting a lemon farm, we had tried plenty of limoncello, and I can confidently say his was the best! Thank you so, so much for an unforgettable day, Massimo. This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon, and we would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast!

Our skipper, Roberto was truly amazing! He was such a friendly person, who made the boat tour really enjoyable for all of the people on board. He even gave us slightly more time, to enjoy the nice waters and overall my partner and I had a really good experience. I would recommend this to everyone looking to book this tour.

We took this tour in late June of 2026. There were many good aspects of this tour: *Check-in appeared chaotic but was actually incredibly efficient. We arrived 5 minutes early and they were ready for us to go. Outstanding! *Boat was clean and comfortable *Captain (Luigi) and guide (Luciano) were superb. Luciano’s personality and charm makes everyone instantly feel instantly comfortable. He does a great job sharing interesting facts about the sights and shares personal stories as well. Both seemed genuinely motivated to ensure every guest’s experience was a good one. * We arrived at Blue Grotto early in AM and wait was approx 30 minutes. Not bad at all. Be sure to watch videos on Blue Grotto by sea tours so you know what you are in for. I am a large body type and claustrophobic so I stayed on the tour boat. The rest of my party transferred to the rowboat and enjoyed the quick trip in and out. * Green grotto and white grottos are meh. Yiu just see the entrances/exits but cannot enter them. * We were supposed to disembark at one port but the guides told us that the port gives all arriving boats a timed entrance and ours was at Noon (we arrived at the port at 9:30ish). The guide explained that we had to wait if we wanted to exit at this port as planned which would mean less time for touring the island and filling the time with sailing around and making swimming stops BUT if we would all agree to it, we could go to the other port on Capri and disembark at a restaurant’s dock as long as we ate lunch at their restaurant - an agreement between the tour company and the restaurant (L’esmeraldo). We went with that option - I am not sure if that was the truth or a scam but we certainly wanted time to walk around Capri. The restaurant was good, reasonably priced, and service was quick by European standards. We then rode the funicular up to the piazza where the views are incredible. We enjoyed a lemon sorbet and shopping as well as the gardens. The trip rounded out with two swimming stops which were enjoyable on a hot day. My one criticism of this tour is that i was not prepared for the amount of at sea transfers would be required - think cruise ship tendering on a much smaller scale. I was well prepared for what would be required at the Blue Grotto but was not informed in advance that i would be required to transfer from the tour boat to a zodiac-style raft and from that watercraft to a floating dock. I have a bad knee and ended up sliding less than gracefully into the raft when disembarking in Capri and then had overwhelming anxiety while in Capri about how I would be able to safely get back on the tour boat since i would be moving from a lower rocking raft to the higher (also rocking) tour boat. The crew was wonderful and very helpful - it was more of a me issue that detracted from the experience - hence the 4 star rating. 5 stars for Luciano!!

Great day, we saw everything Capri. 3 hours in the island was plenty to walk around, shop have lunch and drinks and still go to the beach The Blue grotto and jumping in the water to cool off. David and Sergio were great tour guides and made the trip a lot of fun

Crew was great. Davida and the captain were excellent at creating fun for everyone. Expect to give row boat driver at Grotto a 20e tip each person and the captain and attendant tips too. They deserve it. They work hard to give us a good time. The trip itself is amazing.

The boat ride to Capri was amazing. The crew was excellent and the sites were beautiful. I felt like I was in a movie. We went during a heat wave and that swim was extra refreshing! This was one of the best days of our two week vacation. I highly recommend visiting Capri and the boat tour made it that much more special.
