The perfect tour to experience Capri in the early morning and avoid the island’s peak crowds.
Your journey begins with a scenic cruise along the stunning Sorrento coastline, where you’ll admire the charming fishing village of Marina Grande and the remains of an ancient Roman villa dating back to the 1st century BC.
Upon arrival in Capri, you’ll head directly to the famous Blue Grotto. Please note that the visit to the Blue Grotto is subject to weather conditions and high tide.
Get ready to discover Capri’s most iconic coastal highlights from the sea: the legendary Faraglioni, the Green Grotto, the White Grotto and the historic Punta Carena Lighthouse.
Enjoy refreshing swimming stops in crystal-clear waters and approximately three hours of free time on the island to explore Capri at your own pace.
Return to Sorrento is expected around 3:15 pm.
Please note: the itinerary suggested by Viator is not fixed and may vary depending on sea conditions and the captain’s decisions.

Cruised with a small group of people, we were provided with directions and hints as to where to go on Capri and what to do. The captain and his first mate (Antonio and Frederica) were absolutely delightful and well informed hosts.

The boat was spacious with only 12 passengers. The captain, Raphaella was kind and attentive and let everyone relax and enjoy We made several stops and had plenty of time for swimming. Perfect day!

A beautiful, interesting and informative cruise to and around Capri. Our on board guide, Agatha, was a ball of energy and very informative about the area, the Sorrento coast, and Capri. We did not go in the blue grotto since my wife is claustrophobic, but the ones who did said it was beautiful. Even without the grotto the trip around Capri was well worth the time. We had 4 hours on the island, which was too long since it is similar to other Amalfi coast towns, but more congested and expensive.

We booked thru Viator and received a wonderful day of experiences. MBS was timely and Agata was welcoming upon arrival. We met Sylvestrie as we boarded the boat with the agenda staying on task and arriving at the entrance to the Blue Grotto ahead of all other boats. Heck, we waited for the Museum folks and Grotto guides to arrive! Without fail folks from our boat were first through the passageway - watch your head! How cool was/is the Blue Grotto? Very! A must do if you have time. You won’t see anything like it. Afterward it was back to the itinerary and on to the next site. Speaking of sites… I’m sure every Captain, like Sylvestrie, knows nooks and crannies that are special to show off, but what he and Agata showed us was super cool - other boats just passed on by which made us feel like we got a bonus! Continuing our journey around the lighthouse and on to another cave it was then time to visit Capri. We disembarked at Marina Piccolo and rode the CityBus to Capri. Has plenty of options and Agata helped everyone chose what they felt best for each individual couple. We had play of time to get up, check out views, stores and grab a seat at the City Center for lunch. People watching was high class entertainment at times and a great space to relax a bit. We took the bus back to the boat four hours later and I took a quick dip in the sea - refreshing! Then re-boarded, had some fruit, Prosecco and the Faraglioni. Super cool. We hit a few more cool spots, enjoyed Captain Sylvestrie’s crooning and Agata was great with recommendations for Napoli, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and Ravello as well. They know their stuff! Great tour and would book again!

Agata and Vincenco were amazing. We all absolutely loved our trip. The crew worked so hard showing us various sights, grottos, caves, pointing out different rocks and historic sights. They also read the group very well, stopping when needed, looking after everyone on the boat, serving snacks and drinks, checking we were all ok, laughing at us swimming in the sea in April when it is too cold for locals! Great suggestions for our time on the island including how to get around, cafes, restaurants, gardens and gelato recommendations. Very very well run by the crew so thank you

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Rafaella, was amazing and very knowledgeable. You will still have to pay for the blue grotto entrance ticket and then pay for transportation on the island. We thought it was absolutely worth it and created so many memories on this trip!

The Capri Boat tour was awesome. The boat was a generous size for 12 guests, so you didn’t feel crowded at all. Fredricka and Antonio were excellent guide/captain. The views were unreal and the history and information we learned was interesting. A perfect blend of information and just relaxing. Extra fees are mentioned in the information, but in our experience you were able to use card for the blue grotto experience (do this it wasn’t too scary) and use card for the embarkation fee and Blue bus on Capri. The chair lift had to be in euros. We tipped the blue grotto boat guy too and of course our guide and captain. (I just like to know what to expect for euros/credit card.) Even with all the extra fees, it was a great memorable day, just plan for them and you won’t be surprised.

It all worked out very well and we had a great day with Frederica and Antonio! We saw the blue, green, white and fishing cave and circled and explored the island and were also superbly looked after on board.

Lucio and Gatto were amazing guides. I am a broke college student and can say with confidence that this experience is worth the investment. The views alone were stunning, but photos on the boat also looked instagram worth because of the beautiful, clean interior. I had the most fun cruising around, practicing my Italian with Gatto Sylvester and singing with our guides. They also gave excellent recommendations for things to do on both Capri and Sorrento. My only regret is actually doing the blue grotto! I think that it was beautiful but for €18 + €10 tip, was not worth it for me especially because the rest of the trip was SO good. Take this with a grain of salt, I'm ballin on a budget. Blue grotto excursion is optional!

A magical day on the water around Capri, time to fully enjoy Anacapri and Capri town, serenade in the Blue Grotto, and an April swim in the turquoise waters offshore. Rafaela was our lovely captain who went out of her way to make sure we all enjoyed our time. The boat is beautiful, and the small group size was perfect. There is a toilet on board, and delicious snacks and drinks were offered. Grazie!!
