The perfect tour to experience Capri in the early morning and avoid the island’s peak crowds.
Your journey begins with a scenic cruise along the stunning Sorrento coastline, where you’ll admire the charming fishing village of Marina Grande and the remains of an ancient Roman villa dating back to the 1st century BC.
Upon arrival in Capri, you’ll head directly to the famous Blue Grotto. Please note that the visit to the Blue Grotto is subject to weather conditions and high tide.
Get ready to discover Capri’s most iconic coastal highlights from the sea: the legendary Faraglioni, the Green Grotto, the White Grotto and the historic Punta Carena Lighthouse.
Enjoy refreshing swimming stops in crystal-clear waters and approximately three hours of free time on the island to explore Capri at your own pace.
Return to Sorrento is expected around 3:15 pm.
Please note: the itinerary suggested by Viator is not fixed and may vary depending on sea conditions and the captain’s decisions.

We booked this day trip for my 26th birthday and let me tell you it was incredible. Totally worth every second of the tour and our skipper Ale/Alessandro was amazing, he had great music was signing and just an overall incredible guy. I truly recommend this trip but I can’t speak on how it goes with anyone but Alessandro. If I came back again soon I would personally request for him to be our guide. Definitely book this trip if you are on the fence about it! Also please tip your skipper!

A ton of fun! Crew is exceptional! Highly recommend. Remember cash for tips not only at the end but to the operator of the small boat that takes you into the grotto - unfortunately ours didn’t warn us with enough notice to lay down as you enter (so a man literally flattened my daughter - we did note others properly instructing their passengers) and reminded us three times to tip him which we did reluctantly. Otherwise a really nice day with lots of time in Capri!

Had a really nice time. The skipper and guide were knowledgable and engaging. The weather was also great. Recommend doing this tour because you also have the chance to actually explore Capri.

We had the most amazing experience. We started with a visit to the Blue Grotto. Breathtaking. We visited Anacapri and Capri. Agata and Michael kept us safe and well informed. Met some wonderful travelers as well. Highly recommend.

We had such an amazing time on our boat ride! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the entire experience was relaxing and fun from start to finish. Francisco truly made the trip unforgettable, he was wonderful, full of energy, and kept us entertained the whole time. He also shared so much interesting information, which made the ride even more special. You can tell he really cares about making sure everyone has a great experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Francisco as your guide!

It was a beautiful day trip to Capri and the Blue Grotto. Francisco was excellent and made the trip very enjoyable. You pay a 15 euro payment per person upon checking in for a local tax and credit card is accepted. The fee to enter the blue grotto is 18 euros per person paid directly to the small boat company at the site of the blue grotto and credit card is accepted. Plan on some euros for tip. We had 3 hours on the island to eat and shop. After there was time to swim for a few brave enough to go in the cold water. Alll and all it was a beautiful experience and a 5 stars day.

It was a wonderful trip to Capri made even more memorable by the exceptional care of our young captain of the boat , Enrico, who ensured that all of us are comfortable throughout the journey. He made an effort to explain clearly what to expect , took the time to engage with each of us and was very warm & friendly. Capri town was amazing. Swimming in the Gulf of Naples was an incredible experience. The only pity was missing the blue grotto due to the choppy waves which made it impossible to visit. Enrico however tried to make it up by bringing us to some sections of the island where we could also see some caves with crystal clear turquoise blue water which was truly beautiful. Thanks Enrico for a day well spent.

Our boat host Lucio was a live wire that made the day very fun. Altogether a great day on the water and island. Top pluses- great fun host, small group boat tour that was not crowded, opportunity for a swim in the beautiful water (still cold in April!), the chairlift up to Montesolaro, getting close to Faraglioni for photos. Missing 5th star due to a few minor downsides which may not be in the control of the tour - due to rough waters, the Blue Grotto tour was not operating, very likited time in Anacapri and Capri - only had 10-15 minutes on top of Montesalaro, and a rather rushed walk through Capri town with no time to chill or visit the Gardens of Augustus. But still a very memorable boat tour!!
