5.00Paul, the tour guide, gave an insightful tour regarding what happened in Carcassonne during WW2. He provided numerous stories of individuals who lived and died during that time. Anyone interested in WW2 events and are interested in visiting the locations of some of these events should take this walking tour.

5.00Paul has put in a lot of time into researching his bespoke WW2 in Carcassonne Tour - that was clear from the outset. Paul was incredibly engaging and passionate about the subject and the city itself, and brought many of his photos to life with small details and insights. My partner and I have done many historical 20th century walking tours across Europe, and we certainly learnt something new from Paul's tour. He fielded questions really well and overall was an excellent tour guide.

5.00A well organised and thought out tour with excellent commentary and a deep subject matter knowledge. Our guide was friendly, flexible and a native English speaker who ensured all our questions were answered. We particularly loved that he had archive photos to bring the stories to life. By far the best tour we have done this trip into France!
