Note: The chances to spot them are about 70%. Do not forget that wildlife have their own way of living and we, humans, try to approach them as much as possible in their natural habitat.

Minimum booking numbers apply (2 pax). If you would like to join as 1 person please note that the price for 2 is be applicable. In case we have other tourists, we refund the difference you paid as solo traveler, after the tour.

At the end of the tour we can drop you off at your location in Brasov, for an extra fee. Please inform the driver about it.
We cannot guarantee 100% that you will be able to see any of the wildlife listed above. Do not forget that wildlife have their own way of living and we, humans, try to approach them as much as possible in their natural habitat.
The starting time is between 16:00 - 18:00, depending of the month! You will be advised by our local partner on the exact starting time with 2-3 days before the tour - pick up from Biblioteca Județeană "George Barițiu", Bulevardul Eroilor 33-35.
What To Expect
Meet your driver in front Biblioteca Județeană "George Barițiu, Bulevardul Eroilor, 500036 Brașov, in the late afternoon and set off by air-conditioned minivan or car into the Carpathian Mountains of Romania's Transylvania region. The starting time is between 16:00 - 18:00, depending of the month! We inform you about the exact pick up time/meeting time with 2-3 days before! Extra charges apply if you are staying in Poiana Brasov resort! After roughly 40 minutes, arrive at the hide where you meet our forest ranger and settle in to watch for bears. Stay quiet and enjoy ample time to look for these magnificent animals. Note: we cannot guarantee 100% that you will be able to see any of the wildlife listed above. Do not forget that wildlife have their own way of living and we, humans, try to approach them as much as possible in their natural habitat.

5.00Excellent trip. The bears were waiting for us and then they invited the fox. Also the rain held off until we got back to the car where we had left our raincoats. It was great to see the bears and the fox up close

5.00We were picked up from outside the library as arranged. Driver was friendly and on time. The AC in the minibus could have been better. It took an hour to get to where we began our short walk to the hide. The bus was sweltering. We did visit during a heatwave though. Once in the hide we got settled and were there about 90 minutes in total. During our watch we saw 3 bears and several foxes. It was amazing to see them in their natural habitat. Very enjoyable and highly recommend.

3.00Great experience to see a couple of bears in the wild. But the group was far too big with 19/20 of us in the hide and it was massively overpriced. The trip didn't last as long as 4 hours.

5.00Our dream was to see wild bears in Romania.. and thanks to this tour - it came true!! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and we felt safe the entire time. We managed to see 3 bears and a fox, a beautiful day out in nature from start to finish. Cannot recommend more!!

5.00What a fantastic experience, the weather was awful so we didn’t think we would see anything but we saw a bear print on the way to the house and our patience was rewarded with a visit from a beautiful creature. We had a fabulous time and we would highly recommend. Our driver was so friendly and helpful too

5.00Great experience. About 40 minutes drive to the edge of the forest then a short 10 minute walk up to the hide. We saw,our first bear whilst walking to the hide. The walk itself is lovely surrounded by bird song. It was windy so we only saw one other bear out in the grassy area foraging but that was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information with us whilst we waited. Really glad that we chose this tour.

5.00This was awesome! About a 45 minute drive to the spot where you get to sit in a little hut with one way windows and sit in beautiful nature and wait and watch for bears. We were lucky and saw about 5 that day. The guide was so knowledgeable and shared so much enthusiasm and love for these beautiful animals!

5.00We had a great time on our wildlife experience. Our guide Lucian gave us lots of information about the bears and their habitats through our visit. We saw two small bears who came right up to the cabin. A very unique experience that we thoroughly enjoyed!
