The starting time is between 16:00 - 18:00, depending of the month! We inform you about the exact pick up time from Biblioteca Județeană "George Barițiu", Bulevardul Eroilor 33-35 with 2-3 days before!

What To Expect
Meet your driver in front Biblioteca Județeană "George Barițiu, Bulevardul Eroilor, 500036 Brașov, in the late afternoon and set off by air-conditioned minivan or car into the Carpathian Mountains of Romania's Transylvania region. The starting time is between 16:00 - 18:00, depending of the month! We inform you about the exact pick up time/meeting time with 2-3 days before! Extra charges apply if you are staying in Poiana Brasov resort! After roughly 40 minutes, arrive at the hide where you meet our forest ranger and settle in to watch for bears. Stay quiet and enjoy ample time to look for these magnificent animals. Note: we cannot guarantee 100% that you will be able to see any of the wildlife listed above. Do not forget that wildlife have their own way of living and we, humans, try to approach them as much as possible in their natural habitat.

5.00I went on the Brown Bear watching experience with friends on September 15th, our guide was Tiberiu and he was very friendly, helpful and full of great knowledge and interesting bear stories. It was a lovely walk up through the woods to the bear hut, where Tiberiu showed us wild pig tracks, bear paw prints and areas of hibernation for the bears. Although we didnt see any bears this time, the hut was very peaceful, relaxing and a beautiful spot where we saw lots of wildlife so we all had a very nice time. We would highly recommend this tour.

4.00We were lucky enough to actually see some bears in the shelter within the 90 minutes. Of course, there is no guarantee of that. It's great that there's no encroachment on the bear habitat. However, I would have expected more information about the bears from the guide. He was very succinct, told little of himself and answered only questions.

5.00We had a wonderful time observing the European brown bears in the wild. We saw three adult bears. Two males and one female. We also saw a fox and a deer. Our tour guide was great explaining important facts about these bears. Highly recommend for all you nature and wildlife lovers.

4.00There were six of us on the road and we saw three brown bears and a fox. You can observe the animals very well and relatively close but because of the disc not take perfect photos.

5.00Superb. A must do in Brasov. We saw 5 bears and were lucky enough to see a Mama Bear with cub. Our guide, Robert, said that was a first for him. Guide was superb and passionate as anything about Romanian wildlife. Just do this people.
