Heading north up the picturesque Loch Long and Loch Goil passing the 14th Century Carrick Castle before arriving at the gorgeous Boatshed Café, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. If you are lucky, you might even get a visit from a pine marten or some red squirrels.

What To Expect
We start and end here in the Holy Loch, Dunoon. Learn about its history from ancient times, through the wars and up tioll the present. There may also be a chance to see sonar images of some WW2 landing craft which were sunk here.
Another destination on our Northern Clyde Tour is 14th Century Carrick Castle, situated on the beautiful shores of Loch Goil and in the shadows of the magnificent hills behind. Keep an eye out for Sea Eagles and other birds of prey as they nest in the forests here.

5.00We went out with Jason for a four hour castle and cake tour. It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. My nine year old twins absolutely loved it. We saw seals, star fish and eagles and the scenery was stunning. We stopped off for lunch along the way at a lovely local lunch place on the water. Jason was really knowledgable and made the trip what it was. I learnt a lot and loved my four hours on the water. We were also lucky with a gorgeous sunny April day. Would love to go out again and would highly recommend.
