07:00 AM: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi for journey to Hai Phong city the largest harbor in Red River Delta. The bus ridding on freeway N05 also bring you a good view of rice field and local village. Note: transfer to and from Hanoi are not included. This could be arranged in advanced with extra cost
Cat Ba National Park
10:00 AM: Arrive in Hai Phong city and aboard speed boat / ferry to Cat Ba island. Following speed boat is the lovely ride of 20 minutes to Cat Ba town which mostly giving you the sea view and jungle smell of Cat Ba National Park ● Afternoon: Trek through Cat Ba National Park to Butterfly Valley, a scenic trail passing through lush forests and traditional villages. Enjoy a refreshing tea break with a local family. ● Evening: Return to the lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax in the peaceful island setting.

7:00 AM: Start your day with a refreshing cup of coffee as you get ready for an exhilarating outdoor adventure. 5.00We had a great time on our boat tour with Moka as our host. He did an amazing job catering to everyone on the boats needs while maintaining a positive attitude and atmosphere. Thank you Moka! We also had a great guided hike experience with To Fu. He was very patient with us!

5.00Did a combination of national park hiking and Halong Bay boat excursion. Everything was extremely well organized. My guide Anh was very knowledgeable and made sure that everything was to my liking. A great trip. Highly recommended.

4.00Fabulous experience, we loved the tour . We went to Lan Ha bay which is quieter than Halong and not as touristy , with the same landscape. Kayaking, you could have 2 hours but not compulsory, we stayed out about an hour. It was so quiet and magical . The boat only had 4 cabins there were 6 of us in total. The food was excellent and so much of it . We kept our bedroom curtains open just to see the beauty of the place . Staff were polite and helpful . The next day we went cycling (or electric car ) in Cat ba the scenery is stunning. I couldn’t recommend this trip enough from booking to the tour itself

1.00We booked directly with Vietnam Insider Travel. Inexplicably, they are even in the Lonley Planet. The trip we then took was with sunlight cruise. They didn't even know Vietnam Insider Travel. We didn't do what was described. We had a terrible room with a small porthole and a window at the back behind the bed. We couldn't open it because it was directly above the ship's engine with its exhaust fumes. The food was terrible. A waste of time and money.

5.00The 2 days and 1 night cruise package was the perfect way to explore the stunning beauty of Lan Ha Bay and its picturesque surroundings. The staff at Vietnam Insider Travel were extremely professional and made sure that every aspect of the tour was taken care of, leaving me free to soak in the beauty of the place.Words cannot do justice to the unique experiences I had on this tour, from watching the sunrise over the bay to swimming in the crystal-clear waters. It was truly a dream come true.

5.00From the moment we arrived at the island, the breathtaking scenery took my breath away. The nature trails we hiked on were like something out of a fairytale - lush green forests, crystal clear streams, and hidden waterfalls. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The highlight of the trip was watching the sunset from the top of Cannon Fort, an experience I will never forget. And I have to mention the excellent service provided by Vietnam Insider Travel - every aspect of the tour was well-organized and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time.
