5.00Yes, you can see all that the island offers within 2.5-3.0 hours on this tour. Our guide, Letty, was fantastic; however, it was hard to hear her at times. She does stop the golf cart often to explain the sites, let you take pictures, and gives fun and unique information. You’ll see all of the Wrigley mansions from the outside, learn about where the Chicago Cubs trained for 20 years, see the schools, homes on the island, and beautiful greenery. Avalon is extremely small - we were expecting something much larger and commercialized, but it’s a small, quaint city with very nice people. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. One last thing that is good to know is that cruise ships stop at Avalon at least once a week. Thankfully, we weren’t there at the same time as a cruise ship because it would have been very difficult to shop and see everything with an additional 3000-6000 people.

5.00Audra was amazing! She knew all of the history of the island having lived there for her whole life. She knew the answers to all of our questions and took us to areas that we would not have known about otherwise. We will definitely request her next time we come back.

5.00What a great way to start our day on Catalina! They picked us right up at the ferry. Our guide, Audra, was a gem. She has lived on the island for decades and started out by asking what things we were most interested in so she could tailor our tour. We love history so she sprinkled details about the Wrigley family, the island during WWII, and changes through the years. We were a full party of five so at stopping points we would change seats. There was plenty of room for five adults on the cart. We appreciated the advice on where to eat and what to do after the tour. Thanks, Audra, for a great start to a great day!
