  Absolutely a 5 star trip. We went with the whole family including 2 young children and we had an awesome time. Our captain Richie was excellent, clearly very knowledgeable and proud of where he lives. The whole trip had that wonderful, relaxed but attentive New Zealand vibe and the boat was small enough to get really close to some amazing rock formations including a stunning sea cave. Huge shoals of fish as well and definitely bring your swim stuff as there's a good chance you'll be able to snorkel with them too

  We had an amazing boat trip at the end of January with these guys. Richie was really informative and gave us a good idea of the area. He spent time telling us about the local legends and flora and fauna. His boat skills were excellent too.

  Great boat trip. Fun and beautiful scenery Review of Cathedral Cove 2 Hour Guided Tour Explore Marine Wonders Reviewed 2 days ago This trip was amazing. So much fun. A great experience and the most beautiful scenery too. We saw Hot water beach. Dead sailors grave. Went in a beautiful cave and onto Cathederal cove. Nothing felt rushed. We were lucky to see dolphins lots of them and our guide was happy to spend extra time circling so we all got good photos. At the end he pulled into a bay with lots of red snappers and everyone swam. It was amazing Thanks Richie you made the experience feel unrushed and as if you just took out a bunch of friends. Thoroughly enjoyable. One thing I would say is a hoodie is useful because you do whip through the wind!! Even on hot days. Not a slow boring boat trip like some I have been on

  Ocean adventures tour in gave us a magical time. Worth every penny. We stay in Pauanui and can get picked up at the wharf. This is our second time out with them and they always give 100%. Don’t worry about the weather they will see you have an amazing time. Richie is a great guy who is very knowledge able about the area and happy to share stories and explain the coastal wildlife. He goes above and beyond to see you have a great day out. I'd recommend to anyone visiting the area that doesn't have their own boat. We did Cathedral Cove tour this time and last time did Alderman’s both are amazing. So do them both!

  Very enjoyable and exciting fast ride through the coastal waters of Coromandel. The driver/guide was a pleasure, and offered different extras such as swimming and a beach walk at Cathedral Cove. We didn’t see any dolphins, but saw many large snapper by the boat.

  This experience was incredible. There was so much to see as well as Cathedral Cove. Hayden was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. He also had a great sense of humour and was friendly with the passengers making us all feel valued and welcome, going the extra mile for us whenever possible. I am so glad we chose these tour operators. And they allowed my sister to sing in the cave which I will always remember. Thank you so much.

  Would definitely recommend to everyone. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. We had a great time. It’s a great way to see Cathedral Cove and all the other wonderful places on the way. The boat was very comfortable and had lots of shade.

  Amazing experience on the tour , a fun filled day being shown around the beautiful caves and beaches with stunning memories to treasure . My Boyfriend Purposed to me while on the boat and he had radiod through to another person saying about this to which we wer sent a bottle of wine on the house 🥰 Richie was a great host with great knowledge of the caves ,a lovely guy who made our day very Rememrable I would definitely recommend this to be put on ur list .   Richie is an absolute legend! He was knowledgeable, professional and an excellent boat driver! We enjoyed his company on an afternoon boat tour around the local islands and we would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Tairua or the Coromandel area.
