What To Expect
The Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve opens up a sea kayaking paradise full of beaches, islands and rock gardens that are just waiting to be explored. Paddle through sea caves, interact with the local marine life and discover the thrill of kayak sailing with the wind on your back. The tour offers great photo opportunities and is topped off with cappuccinos, hot chocolates and cookies at Cathedral Cove!

5.00A wonderful kayaking tour to Cathedral Cove plus around (and through!) nearby islands. Our guide was professional, informative, humorous, fun and friendly. Lots of interesting info along the way about marine life, history, geology and flora/fauna. Our second tour in 2 years… delighted to be repeat customers and we were not disappointed! A must-do when visiting Hahei imo.

5.00Great experience, informative friendly guide and great communication. We had no previous experience of sea-kayaks And found it very easy and hugely enjoyable. Btw, we had no issue parking as Michael directed us to a nearby carpark when primary one was full.

5.00We had a fabulous time. The kayaks are easy to paddle and steer even for beginners like us. The water is beautifully clear and was Hayward. The guide was patient and helpful and Cathedral Cove is stunning.
Kayak tour is a must do!

5.00We had such a fun time on the Kayak tour with another 3 couples. Our tour guide was Nathan & he was full of local information and we felt safe with his guidance. We loved the quick swim in the clear blue water before heading back to shore. Would highly recommend & would love to do it again when we come back.

5.00Our kayak tour was great. Jodie is a great guide. We paddled through a small cave and then to Cathedral Cove. There were lovingly prepared hot drinks. We could bathe and take pictures. I can only recommend the tour.

5.00What a wonderful way to spend 3 hours visiting Hahei. We had Louis as our guide, what a champion. Very knowledgeable, very friendly. The company was very thorough explaining sea kayaking and were helpful to everyone. I highly recommend this tour. We did the 8.30 slot which was nice. We also asked Louis about some walks we could do afterwards and again he was so helpful.

5.00We had Hayden as our tour guide and had the most amazing time! He was so informative, made us a cracking latte at the beach - cookies included - and the scenery was beautiful, all around amazing experience that I highly recommend!
