What To Expect
The Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve opens up a sea kayaking paradise full of beaches, islands and rock gardens that are just waiting to be explored. Paddle through sea caves, interact with the local marine life and discover the thrill of kayak sailing with the wind on your back. The tour offers great photo opportunities and is topped off with cappuccinos, hot chocolates and cookies at Cathedral Cove!

5.00Thank you Jody and Brad for guiding us on this kayak trip to Cathedral Cove! It was our first time kayaking on the ocean and had an amazing time. The views and entire experience were spectacular. Entire trip was about 3.5 hours total. We did have a small incident resulting with us rolling out of the kayak, during which Brad and Jody were extremely attentive and professional (everything was okay, nothing serious). We felt like we were in good hands and would definitely go again. Was nice to spend some time at the Cathedral Cove beach. Jody even made us a flat white at the beach during our kayak break! Special shout out to Brad: my wife was quite scared to go on this kayak tour -- thank you for encouraging and reassuring her. Thank you again!

5.00What a wonderful experience. We had a gorgeous day and Jody was an amazing guide. The water was beautiful and the rock formations are stunning. The beach at Cathedral Cove is wonderful. The kayaking is not hard at all and it was nice to have a break at the beach. This was one of the top things we did on our whole NZ trip! Highly recommend.

5.00Myself and my wife loved the Kayak tour. The company were easy to deal with and due to higher winds in the morning we got delayed to a PM tour which was well communicated and explained. Our guide (Georgia) had the tempo, talking and friendliness pitch perfect which made the afternoon a real success. Very satisfied customers.

5.00Such a great experience and the best way to see Cathedral Cove! We made friends with the other couples, learned about the history, got a good workout and enjoyed coffee and hot chocolate on the beach! Highly recommend these guys!

5.00Brilliant kayak tour from Hayek to Cathedral Cove - great to arrive from the sea and miss the throngs of walkers on the walking track. We landed on the beach and had time to swim and enjoy a freshly brewed coffee. Very well organised and Hayden was a superb guide - kept the group together seamlessly and was a font of knowledge regarding the local geography, history and wildlife.

5.00Beautiful kayak tour with Georgia to Cathedral Cove. Explored cove and swam in azure, warm water. Georgia treated us to mocha/latte and cookies on beach. Delightful!
