What To Expect
Barcelona Cathedral
The Cathedral of Barcelona is comprised of three naves, but just a single apse and ambulatory. The naves have five sections: that closest to the façade is the longest in order to accommodate the dimensions of the cimborio, which is adjacent to the main entrance. The typical structure used in Catalan Gothic constructions, arranged to permit use of the spaces within the buttresses, allowed rows of secondary chapels to be opened up in the Cathedral. There are two chapels in each section of the naves, encircling the entire basilica.

1.00Be prepared that the wording on these tours is confusing and designed to have people book a tour to the wrong cathederal when expecting to tour La Familia. AFTER the opportunity to cancel has passed you will be told/warned that this is not La Familia. I have used Viator once before in Vietnam. A day before the Halong Bay cruise I received a call saying our cruise ship had been docked for repairs ... but fortunately another tour was available for the same days on a different ship BUT it was going to cost more. I cancelled and was booked by a local travel agent onto the original boat at a cheaper price than charged by Viator. History repeats when we don't learn from it. I've learned to book through other tour operators.

5.00The cathedral is beautiful and the ticket gave access to all the points as mentioned. The VR experience was great. Would recommend to anyone within walking distance of the cathedral. This has a charm different from La Sagrada Familia.

5.00Awesome way to see cathedral. Please ensure shoulders are covered and shorts aren’t too short, they sell covers for €3 if you’re not dressed appropriately. Make sure to go to the rooftop!
