What To Expect
Catedral de Barcelona
The Cathedral of Barcelona is comprised of three naves, but just a single apse and ambulatory. The naves have five sections: that closest to the façade is the longest in order to accommodate the dimensions of the cimborio, which is adjacent to the main entrance. The typical structure used in Catalan Gothic constructions, arranged to permit use of the spaces within the buttresses, allowed rows of secondary chapels to be opened up in the Cathedral. There are two chapels in each section of the naves, encircling the entire basilica.

5.00Beautiful Gothic masterpiece. The cathedral is worth it and the top is gorgeous. There is a rooftop view and you can sit on benches at the top and take pictures by the towers. The inside has multiple saints you can pay your respects to and there is a shop you can buy rosary’s and prayer cards and religious gifts towards the end. There is beautiful little pond by the store and it has swans. Overall it was a beautiful place and I had a good time and wanted to capture everything.

1.00The audio does not work at all, so this a truly “tourless” guide. Disappointed in rbe price point being charged for the actual experience you get! Don’t think this is a Viator problem, but a Cathedral problem. I’d skip this tourist trap and just walk by the outside
