What To Expect
Mean and Dangerous Adventures
- Get picked up from the hotel/port. - Boarding the inner tubes, participants will be guided by the tranquil currents into the Jaguar Paw Cave. Once inside, the light from the headlamps will reveal a lost world of sparkling stalactites and stalagmites. Floating through this subterranean world is a great way to relax as well as enjoy the beauty and wonder of the complex cave formations. - After spending a few hours marveling at the majesty of the Jaguar Paw Cave, participants will then enjoy a thrilling adventure, sailing through the rainforest on a series of zip lines. - Participants climb to platforms mounted high up in the trees and then, they are attached to secure harnesses that are attached to the cables or zip lines. - Participants then launch themselves into the air, sailing at high speed through the rainforest, giving them a bird’s eye view of the plants and animals that call the canopy home.

Magical way to see the natural wonders of Belize!

5.00Truly magical way to experience the natural wonders of Belize! We started by climbing to the canopy of the rainforest, followed by 7 zip lines - the last over a river. The trees and flowers were gorgeous, and our guides, Victor and Kelvin, made everything safe and easy. Then we took a short drive to the cave tubing. Eric was thorough in explaining both the unique tree species we passed on the 25 min hike to the caves, as well as describing the ancient Mayan rituals once practiced there. Despite the crowds at the tube site, we were totally alone in the quiet of the cave system. It was refreshing, relaxing, and special. My kids loved it and learned a lot. We even saw a family of coatimundi on the way out.

5.00An absolute blast with Edgar!! He was funny, upbeat, charming and just an overall great guide. We got to explore the caves for the 3rd time here in Belize and it’s never disappoints. Hats off to the tour operator!! We will definitely be back again.

5.00Unbelievable experience, should be added to everybody’s bucket list to see once in a lifetime. The trip with Edgar, a local legend, was superior— their are not enough stars to give him. Not only did he educate us about everything that had to do with Belize, he provided an astounding personal tour. , His scholarly expertise on all things Mayan made this extra special and riveting. We ate at a restaurant that provided fresh and yummy fresh cooked homegrown food, and had his personal guidance as we explored the depths annd history of the cavern and river, and enjoyed the safety focused zip lines across the river, valleys, and jungle canopy. Education by our Belizean zip line guides taught us about foraging in the jungle and gave us the opportunity to try things we would’ve never tasted or thought about. I cannot express my gratitude for Edgar for giving us such a highlight. In the scheme of things, this was extremely cost-effective, giving us the guided trip of a Lifetime.

He went out of his way to look for unique experiences for our family and we are forever grateful. We enjoyed him teaching us all about the jungle, local plants, creatures, Mayan rituals, and caves. 5.00Great experience! Our tour guide was amazing. It was a rainy day, so not too many people were there & we were the only ones in our "group" that day. So we got plenty of one-on-one time with our guide. He was super informative, funny, and personable! Highly recommended!

2.00Find a better one. This one is fine if you’ve never done any of the big ziplines in central America, or if you’re trying to take nervous toddlers on their first experience. If you’ve done others, you’ll find this one to be quite tame. The ride out there is quite long, and the tour guide did a good job of telling us interesting things about Belize as we drove, which was actually more memorable for most of us than the actual zip-line experience. The cave tubing was fine—it wasn’t quite a lazy river float. There’s a dammed up part of the river at the cave entrance and your guide will tie all your tubes together and pull you over to the other side to look at some old pottery that may or may not be old enough to have been used by Incans, and then pull you back. You can see the entrance the whole time. He’ll let you jump into the water for the last 50 feet or so. All in all, we wouldn’t do this one again because it was over-priced for what we got.
