Great way to spend an afternoon! Our whole family (ages 10-75) enjoyed the tasting class and learning about winemaking in the Loire Valley. We spent two weeks in France visiting many popular and hidden sites in Paris, Normandy, and the Loire. Most everyone in our family ranked this experience in their top 3 memories of our trip (which surprised me since I booked this very last minute). We all learned a lot, enjoyed the tasting and pairing, and had some laughs with our host.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thomas, our guide, is a sommelier who taught us how to better understand and enjoy wine using his wisdom and humor. His English was fluent and easy to understand. We tasted six wines paired with cheese and meats. The whole experience was around two hours. It was easy to reach the cave by foot from the center of Amboise. We highly the outing.
