Your excursion starts in Palma at 9:30, but we offer a exclusive courtesy return bus from your resort to take you to the meeting point where the trip starts, and then back to your resort. This is free and optional. Then, you don’t need to pay extra for a taxi or to get on different public buses to reach the place where the tour starts.
The tour of the Caves of Drach includes a total of approximately 320 steps, of which 119 are uphill. The paths are well maintained and safe, with lighting and handrails in key areas.
This experience is suitable for most visitors, including seniors. There’s no need to rush — the entire visit through the caves lasts around 2 hours, giving plenty of time to walk comfortably at your own pace. If you or someone in your group has reduced mobility or difficulty with stairs, we recommend considering this before booking, as wheelchair access is not available inside the caves. For healthy adults and seniors in average condition, walking slowly and taking short breaks makes the route fully manageable.

Cuevas del Drach
We now arrive at the famous "Cuevas del Drach", or "Dragon Caves", an underground wonder millions of years in the making. These caves have fascinated historians, geographers, and travelers for generations. Thanks to your pre-booked ticket, you’ll skip the entry line and head straight into the experience. You’ll have around 1 hour and 30 minutes inside the caves to explore at your own pace and fully enjoy this natural marvel.

Nice but short concert and mini boat ride

4.00The tour lasts just over one hour and there are are many steps. Employees with torches light your way. The stalactites and stalagmites are impressive though lit only with yellow light. After the downhill section you are seated in a large auditorium in front of the lakes where a boat carrying a string quartet and pianist play as they are rowed around. The concert lasts about 10 minutes. You can then choose to return via the bridge or across the lake. There was some confusion as to who went where but the boats hold about 16 people so the queue moved quickly though the ride itself was only a couple of minutes. It was beautiful and worth doing. No photos are allowed during the concert but are allowed at all other times so beware of people stopping suddenly or posing for selfies. Compared to other caves (eg Gibraltar) the lighting was unimpressive but the concert and boat made up for it. I expected a larger and more impressive series of lakes so maybe expectations and reality didn’t match!

4.00We left 35 minutes late... Exceptional experience. I had never attended a music show in a cave before. It was magical. I would have liked to film or take photos during the show, but that is not allowed. Since there were about 500 people, I was unable to take the boat tour at the end, and I would have really liked to do that. Otherwise, we would have arrived late to the bus for the return trip.

4.00Excellent guide but it was a bit monotonous having to listen to everything in 4 different languages. I would have liked to learn more about the caves and Spain, but basically 75% of what the guide said we could not understand. Bus was very clean and the AC worked well.

5.00An unbelievable natural gem, surreal cave and very well managed , bus tour was smooth and well organized. Definitely worth it. After the tour we walked the city area around the cathedral, the restaurant and cafe options were amazing.

3.00Beautiful cave but the staff was not pleasant; there was no time to admire because you always had to rush, too many people to enjoy the boat ride, an activity to do by yourself but not on an excursion, as you go around the hotels to pick up people!!!!!!!!!! But they do not tell you this when booking at the hotels!!!!!!

3.00The Caves are a must see. This booking was ok. Basically, it is the transportation via bus to the caves and 90 minutes away. I expected a little more, hoping for an overview of the sites along the way, and perhaps additional stops. That is not what this is.

5.00Had a great trip to the Caves of Drach. Our guide was Ester and our driver was Lolo. We had a brand new bus which was lovely, we were picked up on time and Ester was great at giving us the details we needed; she was very friendly and helpful.
