Your excursion starts in Palma at 9:30, but we offer a exclusive courtesy return bus from your resort to take you to the meeting point where the trip starts, and then back to your resort. This is free and optional. Then, you don’t need to pay extra for a taxi or to get on different public buses to reach the place where the tour starts.
The tour of the Caves of Drach includes a total of approximately 320 steps, of which 119 are uphill. The paths are well maintained and safe, with lighting and handrails in key areas. This experience is suitable for most visitors, including seniors. There’s no need to rush — the entire visit through the caves lasts around 2 hours, giving plenty of time to walk comfortably at your own pace. If you or someone in your group has reduced mobility or difficulty with stairs, we recommend considering this before booking, as wheelchair access is not available inside the caves. For healthy adults and seniors in average condition, walking slowly and taking short breaks makes the route fully manageable.

We booked this half day Caves tour online late afternoon the day before we went. Excellent communications from the team throughout. Pick up was on time and driver Fernando and tour lead Katarina were brilliant. Katarina pointed out many interesting sights and facts en route which was about 1 and a half hours from our hotel in Peurto Pollensa due to lots of pick ups. She gave us our tickets for the Caves and some tips on how to make the most of it. Caves were interesting. It did feel like a procession at times and you don’t get much chance to stop and stare, but it was fine. The orchestra on the boat was very good. We managed to get on a rowing boat quickly for our exit from that section. We then had about an hour free time so walked to Porto Cristo harbour for a pint and snack. Great trip, thanks all.

I heard some people compaining about the program and have some doubts before going, but i'm very glad I've decided to go. It takes some time to reach the coves (I tootk the tour from Palma), but the bus was very comfortable and the meeting poing was a very easy place to get. Hint: ask your provider your bus number prior to the trip, it makes it easier to find the bus. They really gather a lot of people hourly to visit the caves. That's what allows them to get everyoe together for the music show. I found the coves very beatiful and the whole experience very rich. The pearl factory is near the caves and the tour I took didn't force us to go to the factory. After the visit you coul have some free time to lunch, rest or visit the factory if you wanted to. I surely would go again.

The caves are spectacular and the orchestra on the boats is special. We booked the half day so we could just relax whilst the tour guide did all the booking for us. On route we saw the Rafael Nadel Academy

The caves are an absolute wonder! 🤩 The staff within were courteous and kept the walking queue moving. Plenty of time to take the odd picture as long as you kept the flash off. The concert at the end was enthralling 🎶 Before the concert, we were politely requested on several occasions not to film or take pictures during the performance . What a shame some entitled idiots thought that request didn’t apply to them and spoiled the enjoyment of anyone around them. How the cave staff remained polite and courteous throughout is beyond me.

This 5-hour round trip was a birthday treat and a perfect half-day out. It was well-organised, kept on schedule and full of useful commentary. Our guide, Guisseppe (aka Joe) spoke at least five languages to suit the mixed group, and his timing with announcements about places of interest along the route was excellent. The journey from Palma to the caves took about an hour and we arrived in good time to join our 1100am entry slot queue. Several hundred visitors are admitted on the hour, each hour, and our party (with tiockets p[rovided by our guide) joined the throng in the queuing system. Progression through the cave system is carefully managed and takes up to an hour. At the bottom of the system there is a large lake with tiered seating for ALL the visitors. The lights were dimmed and from here we watched and listened spellbound to the 10-minute concert performed by a handful of professional musicians in a small boat being rowed slowly across the lake. Several hundred visitors, completely quiet and enthralled. Magical and very memorable. After the concert the option to be rowed back across the lake towards the exit was taken up by about half the crowd who waited patiently for their turn on one of the half dozen boats. Back outside, the facilities for comfort breaks, refreshments, buying souvenirs etc, and the time available for this were very good. A really woirthwhile trip, with the concert being the highlight.

I returned to the caves as I had been as a child and they were as I remembered. Very atmospheric and for the price of admission I find to be extremely affordable The music in the middle of the tour was amazing and very relaxing, there’s a fair amount of steps and if you have mobility issues you’d find it hard going but I’d definitely recommend a visit

The caves were a great experience! The bus was easy to find, air conditioned, and overall the tour was very organized. Our tickets allowed us to skip the line. It’s self-guided in the caves. They are not to be missed—beautiful formations and moves pretty quickly in spite the crowds. I’m a classical music buff, so for me, the concert was the highlight. It’s only 10-15 minutes, but the string quartet is on a rowboat circling the lake. They turn off all the lights except on the boat. Afterward, you take a rowboat across the lake to exit. Yes, the ride is extremely short—maybe 1-2 minutes, but it was a cool experience and gave off major Phantom of the Opera vibes. The tour gave us ample time to see the caves and wander the souvenir shops. Highly recommend—no complaints.

This company is quite simply the best in Alcudia to arrange your trips, Lisa looked after us in organising our trip the Caves of Drach which was out of this world, the bus was fabulous and the guide was brilliant in pointing out facts along the way about Mallorca. What makes this company so amazing was whilst booking my trip to the Caves I just happened to mention to Lisa that it was my dream to go visit Rafa Nadal’s Tennis Academy however it was very difficult to get to from Alcudia, within 5 minutes of me leaving the shop she messaged me and said if I was still interested in going she could get me on the bus the next day which was going to the Caves and have me dropped off and collected to and from the Academy. Thank you so much Lisa for a first class service. Oooh and Rafa Nadal’s Tennis Academy is amazing if anyone has the opportunity to visit you certainly won’t be disappointed !!
