Your guide will provide historical context to help you understand the events leading up to this momentous turning point.

Stop 2: The Princely Court of Târgoviște.

Explore the remnants of a medieval stronghold that once served as the royal residence of Vlad the Impaler (Dracula). Discover the Chindia Tower, royal palace ruins, and orthodox churches that echo the grandeur of 15th-century Wallachia.

The tour of Ceasescu execution sight was interesting as not only did you see the execution site but also where they were imprisoned and tried. The building also houses a military museum including uniforms insignias and weapons. Our tour guide George was excellent in explaining what we were seeing. Vlad the impaler’s palace was excellent as well. The palace just has the walls standing but still interesting. There was a church on the property as well as a museum dedicated to printing. Definitely go up the tower to get a bird’s eye view and see where vlad impaled the Ottoman army.

My tour guide George was an amazing guide for this. He gave so many interesting facts and historical knowledge of all the sites we visited. The military museum has much more history in it besides the trial and execution it was very good. I expected that to be the highlight for me but the old palace and tower somehow stole the show. Don’t miss out on this if you’re in Bucharest

The tour guide we had Sebastian lead absolutely fantastic ! Explained the entire story of Vlad the impaler to us in a way we could all easily understand. This is the real residence of Vlad ( not a tourist trap like Bran castle ) . We had a nice lunch together at a local restaurant and also seen the sight of where the former president Ceausceau and his his wife were executed . The entire story is fascinating and eye opening to the struggles romania has endured . Definitely take this tour if you’re visiting Romania !!! You won’t be disappointed!

As hotelier proffesionals is difficult to find good touring companies to work with and to be sure the guest's satisfaction is maximum. But they are doing a great job, with passion and enthusiasm. We checked this new tour to Targoviste, as the other tours to the Carpathians became hard to do seeing the huge holiday traffic. We've been surprised to see the royal court, citadel and church with so many hundreds of years of history and crazy stories, which Seastian was so happy to share. Also the last comunist dictator's execution place inside a military unit, was part of pur visits....a thrilling one. But that's the history... Great tour, great company! Keep it up!
