Bad tour operator Cebu Southern Tour (or Cebu Blue Tours)

1.00DO NOT USE TOUR OPERATORS CEBU BLUE TOURS OR CEBU SOUTHERN TOURS for this once in a lifetime tour opportunity if you actually want to see whale sharks. They will take your money and not show up and not contact you. And basically ruin your family’s trip while at the same time making you wake up at 3 am for no reason. BUYER BEWARE!! Please note that I received no email, no call, no text and no chat message with any explanation. I also confirmed there is no government or any other mandated shut down of this activity. So there is no reasonable explanation for this bad tour operators behavior. We waited an hour and twenty minutes. We booked through Viator and I will say they did what they could to help on their end when I called them but since the tour operator phone number is a bad number and the email address is a different name and no one was working at 4 am, it was to no avail. I did appreciate their effort.

5.00This is the most amazing exprience anyone could ever have. Swimming with whale shark, sardines and turtle is unreal. Cebu Blue tours made everything so seamless from start to finish. Entire team is amazing- they have great contact with locals and hospitality is on another level. Photos they take with their go pro are also so worth it. We felt so taken care of throughout the trip. Even for a non-swimmer like my friend Chirag and Mohit, team always have full gear of fins and life jacket to help us out with. Would definitely recommend cebu blue tours for anyone coming to Cebu.

5.00We had an amazing experience with Cebu Blue Tours! Our group booked the whale shark, Tumalog Falls, and Moalboal sardine run tour — and every stop was incredible. The day was long, but everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Swimming with the whale sharks and seeing the sardine run up close were once-in-a-lifetime moments! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cebu who wants a fun, well-organized adventure.

1.00Bad experience from this tour. Incessant chatter by driver and guide but not to passengers, to each other. Imagine that for the 3.5 hr drive each way, including v early morning. Moalboal beach was bleached coral, depressing, not to mention horrible experience with divers grabbing you and driving turtles away by distracting them with their gopro. Even worse os leave a negative review and the owner will send you rude messages. Other tours would be better than this outfit!
