Alex was an excellent tour guide. You can tell that he knows and loves the city of Philadelphia. He covered a lot of fun history as we walked the different neighborhoods. The food on the tour was excellent as well.

This Center City Philadelphia food tour was an absolute highlight, and Nina made it unforgettable. We kicked things off with warm, buttery Philly pretzels—the perfect welcome bite—and then headed to the iconic Reading Terminal Market, which was truly amazing. The market is a feast for the senses: bustling aisles, the aroma of fresh bread and spices, colorful produce stands, and an incredible mix of longtime vendors and hidden gems all under one historic roof. We sampled an iconic Philly cheesesteak that was everything you’d expect and more—juicy, flavorful, and undeniably authentic. Along the way, we stopped at several shops and vendors that we immediately marked for return visits. In the market ,we also enjoyed cookies. After we left the market we enjoyed a surprisingly delicious tahini shake from a vegan spot, and iniri at a Korean vendor. The iniri were a standout—crispy fried tofu skin pockets filled with rice and incredibly tasty fillings. Nina was fun, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She really knows the city and shared fun facts and stories that only a true Philly native would know, which made the experience feel personal and authentic rather than scripted. I would absolutely recommend this food tour to anyone visiting Philadelphia—and if you can, be sure to book with Nina. She truly makes the experience special.

Brittni was a great tour guide, made her grandma proud. She offered perfect combination of history, humor, inside knowledge and food - both unexpected and traditional Philly fare. Would highly recommend. We were a family of 5 from the Philly burbs!

Expecting the tour to discuss the Reading Market and take us through the market to different locations. This did not happen. The tour guide sat us down and brought us food. I was extremely disappointed with the tour. Also, the few places outside of the Reading Market visited were not worth the price of the tour. Find another company for this tour.

What a wonderful experience! Nina is so funny and the food we got was all delicious. She also gave recs of things to try along the way which is great. Nina makes the history of the places we go super interesting and I really enjoy everything we did! Make sure to budget about 2/2.5 hours for the tour.

What an OUTSTANDING way to spend half a day, learning about the old Philly but celebrating the vibrancy of the new Philly as well. This was my birthday gift to myself, with 9 family members, with ages ranging from 14 to 82—so the tour can truly be said to be a crowd pleaser. Our guide, Brittni was equally informed and passionate about the history and the food and she was GREAT with group dynamics, finding a little something for everyone in all of the little stories along the way. She looks beyond the obvious for both the stories and the food, and wants to leave her travelers with piqued interest and full bellies! If you want to learn and laugh and eat, you TRULY can’t do better than this! Make sure to leave time to roam Reading Market afterwards—and ask Brittni for her tips and suggestions. She’s carefully researched and curate her favorites along the tour route, and some will absolutely surprise you. (I’m not going to mention the specifics, as I want you to be as curious and as excited as I was, waiting to see what comes next…) AND HERE’S A BIG HELLO TO BRITTNI’S GRANDMA! You should be very proud of your girl! She does a great job.

This food tour was pretty underwhelming, we loved the reading terminal market, but we only spent about 20% of the tour time in that location. One of the stops is Insomnia Cookies which has good cookies but it’s a nationwide chain! Why not stop at the cookie vendor at Reading and support a small business? This tour is bad for vegetarians or vegans. One of the stops is a Philly cheesesteak & they offer no replacement item to accommodate vegetarians. They need to be more transparent about what is included for vegetarians, why should they pay the same price for 80% of the food? Just bizarre. Tour guide, Barry, was knowledgeable but had a bad attitude and seemed disinterested in talking. Do yourself a favor and just spend this $ in the market!

Great experience walking and eating our way through downtown Philly. James was kind and informative sharing tidbits of history and local knowledge. We loved trying so many different foods, but especially enjoyed our cannoli and cheesesteak. Perfect way for any foodie to tour the city.

On a very cold day Brittni intrigued us and kept us engaged with her knowledge of the early history of Philadelphia, the Quakers and the Amish, the historic buildings in center city and much more, with tastings at two stops, then concluding with lunch and history of Philly's famous cheese steaks at Reading Terminal Market. Brittni's enthusiasm conveyed her love for what she was doing. To Brittni's grandma from another grandma, who also happens to give tours (at the Pearl Buck Historic Home), be assured your granddaughter is tops as a tour guide!

This was a family activity for the holiday week. Barry, our guide, was great. His obvious enthusiasm for his city was evident as he presented great information about the architecture and history of the area. Our tour included 5 food stops and we were full by the last stop. 2 food items came from the Reading terminal market. Barry was able to accommodate our traveler who had many food allergies at most of the stops.
