What To Expect

Chacaltaya Mountain + Moon Valley

Duration:8 hours

Operating Schedule:Daily departures Start time and pick up of hostels / hotels (central area of La Paz) 8:00 and ends at 16:00.

It is a 1 hour walk to the top of the Chacaltaya mountain from where you can see the Cordillera Real.

It is a 1 - 1 1/2 hour walk through unique rock formations.

Very good tour, the guide Paty and the kotoroata Ruben were excellent. We could only improve the tour by including lunch time between the two attractions, as we had to have cake lunch inside the Van.

A magnificent tour, attentive and knowledgeable guide of the places visited. Chacaltaya with its beautiful landscapes and snow; Valle de La Luna with its unique history and beauty. I highly recommend the agency and the tour.
