Enjoy a satisfying meal of "Tonkatsu" (Japanese-style Pork Cutlet) and "Chanko Nabe" (Sumohouse-style hotpot soup), all made by the wrestlers. Take the rare opportunity and try wrestling with retired sumo wrestlers.
For vegetarians, the restaurant will offer vegetarian dishes at the restaurant’s discretion. The restaurant will offer substitute ingredients for those who can not eat pork at the restaurant’s discretion.

We hope you have great time while learning and enjoying the world of Sumo. ◆Enjoy the SUMO PERFORMANCE You will learn about sumo history, manners and etiquette, training, a real sparring match and so on. 1. Explanation about fundamental actions by two wrestlers (they were competitive sumo wrestlers in the past). 2. Introduction of some techniques including prohibited techniques 3. 3 sparring matches 4. Great Sumo Experience - Memories for a Lifetime!

5.00This activity definitely punched above its weight! Initially, we looked into attending a live Sumo match, but unfortunately none of the tournaments were happening while we were in town so booked this as a best alternative after reading the reviews - REALLY glad we did! For those of us who are not really knowledgeable about Sumo, this was a perfect introduction to the sport and its history. We enjoyed hearing directly from the wrestlers about their experiences in and out of the ring, the food they prepared was delicious, and the opportunity to "wrestle" them in the ring was a memory we (and our teenage nephews) never forget!

5.00As first timers in Japan, we went to this tour knowing it was for tourists and it would be slightly cheesy. It exceeded our expectations. The meal was tasty but mediocre, exactly as expected. The show itself was a lot of fun. We learned a lot about Sumo wrestling. We were also smart enough not to challenge the 500 pound guys at the end, though it looked a lot of fun to try.

5.00This was absolutely fantastic. The food is great, some education about the sport and the sumo wrestlers lifestyle, then an intractable training session with the Sumos where you can volunteer to wrestle them and take pictures. This was the first activity we did for our honeymoon, and both of us walked out with huge smiles. So much fun for all ages! Drinks are very affordable, would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for some sort of sumo experience
