We are passionate about talking about our Cartagena culture and today is the day to tell you about Salsa and Champeta.
You will learn to dance with us, Master or test your dance skills with these dance classes that offer you to learn basic steps, sequences of Champeta and Salsa movements, and how to immerse yourself in the music. Grab a mojito from the bar and enjoy the sunset on this amazing rooftop and sip this tropical cocktail while learning a few moves.
This experience is designed for all experts and also for beginners.

What To Expect
Dancing has never been so much fun. To the rhythm of SALSA AND CHAMPETA! For 1:30 hours we will be on a rooftop inside the walled city. We will start with a welcome drink to get to know each other much better, and then we will learn together about the most popular Latin rhythms: Salsa and La Champeta, the latter is our local rhythm and it is a musical rhythm that reminds us of the connection of Cartagena with Africa, it emerged from the bowels of the city's periphery, a symbol that ended up becoming part of the identity. We have more than 5 years of experience sharing stories through tourism and now is the time to show our culture through dance. This experience is ideal for solo travelers, and also for groups, as an activation activity and to learn everything you need to hit the streets and feel like a local! After the session, you will receive a message with the Playlist of our most popular songs.

5.00This was SO fun!!! Our instructors were enthusiastic and excited and the vibe was awesome. The sunset view from the rooftop was beautiful, and it was fun getting to chat with the others in our group. We learned some Champeta and also some salsa. It wasn’t in partners, but instead we learned some choreography of each style. It was super fun and I would do this class over and over again if I was still in Cartagena! Highly recommend!!!

5.00This was a great family experience that was fun for all ages (18-60). Easy to learn the moves but complex enough to be interesting. It was a hot night, so we had a few breaks with drinks. The hosts were interactive and fun. Would recommend for all ages!
