Lap An Lagoon
The tour starts from your cruise ship: We begin the tour with a quick stop at the Blue Lagoon, where you can see fishermen's houses on stilts and oyster farms. Next, we admire the stunning Lang Co Beach from a distance, which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam.
Hai Van Pass
Scenic Drive Over Hai Van Pass: Soon after, we will embark on a scenic drive over the Hai Van Pass, known as the most beautiful coastal road in Vietnam. Featured in a special episode of BBC's Top Gear in 2008, this pass offers breathtaking panoramic views of white-sand beaches, Da Nang City, Monkey Mountain, and the centuries-old Leprosy Colony below. At the top of Hai Van Pass, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or fresh juice while taking in the million-dollar view — a truly unforgettable experience. 5.00We had a great time in our tour despite the weather. Not only did our guide Quyen spoke flawless English but was also very thorough in her explanations and insights on Vietnamese history, lifestyle and society. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Lunch was also very tasty and our driver cautious and polite. Hoi was the highlight - very colorful, charming with lots of shops, cafes, temples. Wish we had spent more time there.

5.00A really enjoyable and perfect day if you’ve only got a single day in port. Communications ahead of the trip were excellent and on the day we were met at the port by Carol (Thuỷ) and Nam, our driver who looked after my wife and I all day - the whole experience was absolutely frictionless from beginning to end. Trip starts with pick up from Chan May port with a quick coffee stop on the way out at Lap A Lagoon before heading up Hai Van Pass, stopping at the top. Then a drive into town for the Love Bridge & Dragon Bridge and onto Marble Mountain and a look at a Marble carving village. Lunch is a traditional Vietnamese lunch at Tra Que vegetable village which is incredible - note if you’ve not got a big appetite I suggest skipping breakfast as it’s 5 delicious courses. After lunch we headed into Hoi An old town for. Walk around and through the ancient trading port which is great and if you want some souvenirs there’s loads of small, local boutique shops. Trip ends with drive through Hai Van tunnel and back to the port. Done loads of these trips around the world and this is definitely up there with the best!
