Our guide Paul was excellent. We had a fantastic view of the changing of the guards at St James Palace, along the PalMall and then again as they exited Buckingham Palace. I will highly recommend this tour.

Joe was very knowledgeable as our tour guide and funny! We learned so much about the history and changing of the guards ! We didn’t however see the guards close up in front of Buckingham Palace but from a distance like across the roundabout. Maybe because it ma off season.

We are SO GLAD we decided to book this tour! I chose it based on the fact that the official changing of the guards website recommended it and that we knew we did NOT want to wait for hours in front of Buckingham Palace to just get a glimpse of the end of the changing of the guards. This tour was beyond perfect to showcase different parts of the changing of the guards and multiple spots, seeing the band and marching alongside with up close views. It helped we went in February which isn’t peak season, but WOW. Far beyond what we expected. Rachel our tour guide was phenomenal. She was energetic and just overall lovely but what we loved most is she provided the perfect amount of information throughout the tour. It was an excellent balance of learning new and pertinent information without feeling overwhelmed and she clearly has this tour down to a science because we showed up at all the right spots at all the right times! Would absolutely recommend booking this to anyone going. I wish we could upload videos to show just how close we were!

Our guide was Joe, an ex cabbie who had a wealth of knowledge to share and a few bad jokes. We were guided to prime viewing spots to see the guards, not only at Buckingham Palace, but also St James', the barracks and Clarence House. Each location was accompanied by facts about the Changing of the Guard, the Regiments and London history. We have seen the Palace guards on our own before, but this tour showed there was so much more to see that we wouldn't have seen on our own, and insider knowledge of where to stand meant that we were in touching distance of the parade. Thoroughly recommend.

Very difficult to find our group since there were many tours lined up at the same time. We checked with many guides, however unfortunately we could not find the walking tour so missed out on the event. Disappointing!
