Angie was an amazing guide. She provided so much information and kept us so organized - allowing us to have an amazing, close-up view of the changing of the guard. What a memorable experience!

This was a perfect way to see the guards. Our guide Angie put us in perfect position to see both sets of guards. Angie was amazing and full of facts about everything we were seeing. I highly recommend this experience. It is quite a bit of walking through the city on cobble stone streets but well worth it.

Our tour guide Angie is a native-born Londoner who has been guiding these tours for years and knows where the best viewing and photo sites are located. Key hint: the sites are NOT near the Buckingham Palace gates and you will see why with Angie. After gathering us together at Piccadilly Square Angie took us to the monuments near Trafalgar and introduced us with a touch of East End humor to a few lesser heroes with large monuments and also the new sardonic Banksy-created monument. That would have been good for a short tour by itself. Next we got a show and tell about Clarendon House and St James Palace. Great info but depending on the time of year you will need to mind your allergies. I don’t think that I am very susceptible but for some reason at St James Palace my eyes started weeping, my nose ran and I sneezed and coughed, so did another tourist and eventually so did Angie. Angie said that it was dust (it was a windy day), I thought that it was a beautiful California Lavender tree blooming nearby and which I had never seen before. When we moved to Angie’s first photo spot not very far away, the problems all stopped. There are three good photo spots for the actual parade; take the tour and don’t miss them.

Rachel is phenomenal! She’s probably the best tour guide I’ve ever had. Rachel will take you to all the hidden spot where you can witness the guard changing and guard marching. And she’s so knowledgeable and funny….we all loved her so much!

Angie was super friendly and did an amazing job leading our tour and sharing information on the changing of the guard, British history, the royal family and more. We were able to see the changing of the guard from excellent positions, marched alongside them, and saw the final exit from Buckingham Palace. Angie truly wanted us to enjoy our time, and she maximized our experience. There’s no way we could’ve enjoyed it at this level without her!

Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help whenever needed. Transportation and arrangements were smooth, although there were a few minor delays during the trip. The hotel stay was comfortable, but I feel it could have been slightly better for the price paid.

The Changing of the Guard tour was exceptional. While we were not right at the gates as it happened (you will need to stand there three hours plus for 10 minutes of viewing for that), we did follow the guard from the time they existed their barracks to when they reached the palace. We walked in unison with them (on the sidewalk) as they played their marching music and that was exceptionally cool. Our host, Racheal, did a great job. We started several block out and stopped to discuss figures/statues, who they were and what importance that had in the ceremony and also some general history. After the change at the palace, we went to another set of barracks to see closeup the guards coming off duty. Then lastly back to the palace (much closer this time) to see the remainder of the black hats coming into the palace, marching and playing music. The guidance, experience and information given were excellent. Highly recommend - 5 out of 5 stars.
