Lovely time in the estuary. We saw quite a few dolphin. Not many birds. We mainly went to enjoy being in the estuary and on Morris Island. Dominic gave us information the group well.

AWESOME!!! Drive down a dirt road to the real South Carolina - have lunch at the Bowen Island restaurant (Don;t plan to eat there after 5 as the lines are long!).....board the small boat not over packed with people - meet the Captain who takes you through the beautiful estuaries and talks about the nature and history - stopping leisurely along the way to view dolphins, birds, historical spots, etc......One hour at a beautiful, uncrowded beach to explore (one hour is perfect amount of time..) then back to the dock.....We did the 5:15 trip and came home as the sun was setting over the water. PERFECT!! Bring water, a bag for your shells, and a tip for Captain! Thank you Captain Dominic and Coastal Adventures! This was awesome!!

This was our favorite thing in Charlestown so far. The tour was great. We saw dolphins several times, enjoyed hearing about wildlife and the eco system and collected some amazing shells on the beach. It was nice to get out of the town area and see the beauty of SC. We would do it again! Thank you, Dominic!!
