What To Expect
Funny Bus
The Funny Bus Charlotte Comedy City Tour departs at 1st Ward Park (301 E 7th St), by the Light Rail tracks. The ONLY comedy tour you can walk to form your uptown hotel! You can bring your own beer or wine, and there’s a quick break at a local bodega for more beverages or to use the restroom. Your tour guide is a local comedian and puts a comedic spin on the sights, sounds, and history as we explore all four wards of the Queen City and some of the cool-hip neighborhoods surrounding the city (South-End, NoDa, Plaza Midwood and Historic Fourth Ward.) We will pass by the Panthers Stadium, the Knights Stadium, the NASCAR Hall of fame and several other great attractions! Please note: Due to the mature nature of the jokes on the bus, this tour is intended for adults only. Those under 16 are prohibited, and no babies or small children are allowed on the bus. If tickets are purchased for children, they will not be allowed to board, and no refund will be issued.

5.00Great fun! Roxanne was the best guide. She was very entertaining and I saw parts of Charlotte I had never seen. Plaza Midwood, NODA and Southend. Well worth the money!!

5.00Was not expecting a lot on a Monday, but it turned out to be a fun afternoon that really exceeded my expectations. Our comic, Roxanne, kept the energy up and the laughs coming. Even the fellow driving the bus added to the fun. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a simple overview of Charlotte's neighborhoods and history, or looking for a fun way to entertain guests.

5.00Very funny. Enjoyed the adult view of the history of Charlotte. Drove by the important buildings such as sports venues, museums. We covered the basic history of the 4 wards, recommended eateries and bars, with a quick stop in the middle.

1.00The "Charlotte History" tour bus was terrible. One drunken guy demanded all the attention. Even the 6 others (drunk to a lessor degree) with him did not try to restrain him! After trying to control him, the speaker gave up and it turned into a R rated party bus. One couple got off at the bar stop and switched to the Beatlejuice bus. They reported that after switching the experience was MUCH better! I wish I knew I could switch at that point! I was impressed by the skills of the bus driver in navigating the streets of Charlotte. I had talked with the Beatlejuice person beforehand and was impressed that he knew sign language! I should have stayed with his bus!

5.00This trip was awesome! We had Tom as our tour guide and Dee was our driver. They were amazing. Tom is hilarious and he just interacted with everyone on the bus and it was such a great time for our trip to Charlotte.

4.00We had some good laughs. Tom the comedian was great. Chris our bus driver was great too! The bus tour is mostly about interactions with people on the bus and people on the streets. We were taken to some nice spots outside the city. We stopped at a brewery about halfway in case u wanted to purchase a drink or use the bathroom.
