I highly recommend this tour. It lasted about two hours and our group size was twelve. Our guide was Sylas. He was knowledgeable about the market's history, the individual shops histories, as well as the ingredients used for all the samples we ate. We sampled a variety of bites from different vendors and all were good.

Excellent variety of food samples from businesses throughout the Seattle Pike’s Place Market. Knowledgeable details about how each business sourced its food and historical info about the Market are shared. I had been to the market before, but this tour took me to wonderful tasting opportunities I had missed. Silas was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and gave insightful tips from a chef’s point of view about food preparation & why certain food combinations in our samples worked so well together.

This is THE food tour for Pike Place Market! Eric, our guide, was a wonderful combination of historical information, experience and fun. His strong relationships with the many vendors in the market made the tour seamless and enjoyable. We personally met some of the shopkeepers, who explained different aspects of their products, while devouring the generous samples they provided. From Hellenika ice cream (literally to die for!), Pike Place Chowder to Rachel’s Ginger Beer and everything in between soooo deliciousl Don’t make the mistake we did by having dim sum before we began the tour, go on an empty stomach! You will not be disappointed!
