Wonderful way to see the market without all the lines and chaos. Got to sample food from several stalls and learn about each vendor. Our guide Will was very knowledgeable and seems to have great relationships with many of the vendors. Would do again!

The food wasn’t all for me but I enjoyed learning about the market a lot and it was a fun afternoon.

Even as someone familiar with Seattle, this Pike Place Market food tour exceeded my expectations! Chef Eric was an incredible guide — knowledgeable, engaging, and calm even while leading us through the market during a very busy time of year. Every food stop was intentional, delicious, and perfectly portioned, and we loved learning the why behind each choice. His storytelling and history of Pike Place Market added so much depth to the experience, making the market feel brand new. This is a top-notch Seattle food tour and something I’ll be recommending to visitors and locals alike. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we’d come back.

There was a lot of walking around, and you get to taste a variety of foods including a Seattle dog, chowder, pizza, salmon, taco, salmon spread, and more! Robert was informative and full of fun facts. We had a great time, and got to try a lot of things we normally wouldn't have tried. Thanks again!

Wide variety of food options presented by a knowledgeable chef (Will, for us) with a deep understanding of the food item, its history, the folks who make it, and how it can be used in cooking.

Eric was a great guide, he took time to explain the history of the venues in the market, as well as how the restaurants make the food and why it's special. He constantly made sure our group was all together and that no one got lost in the busy market. The group size was just right - about 10 to 12 people. We got to try samples at each stop, each with a different theme or flavor profile. Some stops also had staff that would tell us more about their product or process. There were some spots I would never think of checking out that I really enjoyed and will be checking out again in the future. The tour was about 2 hours but went by quick. I wish the price was a bit lower, maybe closer to $60, but you're paying for an expert chef and guide plus samples, so it's a pretty good deal and a great way to get the inside scoop on the market without feeling overwhelmed. Wear a light jacket for rain in the Fall and of course good walking shoes!

Eric gave a fantastic Chef’s tour of the Seattle Pike place market. Opened my eyes to so many great restaurants and eating places that a local like me had never heard of. And coupled this with great history and behind the scenes talks, as well as some super interesting food science lessons as well. Would totally recommend Erik Olinsky!
