5.00As long as you know what you’re signing up for, I think this is the best way to visit Chiang Rai on limited time! The White Temple and Blue Temple were stunning, and we were pleasantly surprised by the beauty and tranquility of the Temple of Light. Our tour guide, Ratcha Vasit, was the highlight of our journey and gave us many details about the temples and Buddhism itself – you could tell he was passionate about his own beliefs, which made the experience even more special. My caveats – it is a LONG day with a lot of time spent in the car. Additionally, the White Temple/Blue Temple are modern and unlike other historic Buddhist temples, as well as very busy tourist destinations. However, if you’re prepared for these aspects going in, the tour is a great value and helps you get the most out of your experience!!!

5.00It was a rainy day but worth the day trip. Ratcha was an amazing tour guide with vast knowledge of the history. This was the perfect blend of guided tour and self exploration. Each temple was unique and deserving a visit.

4.00The guide was nice (Ratchavasit) and offered explanations while answering questions. Temples were good, beautiful, but full of tourists. Transport was comfy and offered cold water which was quite useful.
