Firstly, I was shocked that as a Westerner I got in for FREE, however on this occasion I showed my Pink Thai ID card and got FREE access!! The Temple is absolutely wonderful to walk around and view. Somehow we always manage to get a Free car park just outside the Temple on the main road!! Although the surroundings are very peaceful and relaxing it is always busy here with tourists..... all fighting for the same Magic Photograph!! I was amazed that there were NO Birds flying around or resting in the trees. I guess they have a very effective Bird poison, capture and remove policy. Defo a MUST DO when up in the Chiang Rai area for a visit.....

Boom the tour guide was brilliant. The temples are absolute beautiful. Only downside, need more time at the temples however the travel is 3-4 hours each way.

Highly recommend this tour if you’re in Chiang Mai and want to see some of northern Thailand’s most beautiful temples and if you get Tomtam as your guide, you’re in for a wonderful day👌!

The itinerary and the journey was well structured and organised. However sitting at the back of the coach made it less audible to listen to our tour guide. Moreover, it felt that we were chaperoned from one place to the next and due to the large group size, we missed some of the explanations and instructions from the tour guide. Compared to other tours it felt impersonal. Nevertheless, it s still a tour I’d recommend.

It was awesome the tour. And the tour guide Banana was exceptional. So passionate about the history of the temples, he loves his job. He talk to much, but it's grateful, because gives important notes about each place and it's hilarious. Banana the best guide ✨

This tour is an absolute must see, the temples are incredible! Popcorn was our tour guide, and he is exceptional at his job. Very fun and friendly, but also very knowledgeable. It’s easy to see that he has passion for his country and loves to teach people about the history. It was a great day!

Athikhom (Banana) was a funny and kind tour guide! He was attentive to the schedule and taught us about the temples we visited. Although I really enjoyed our guide, I'm not sure if this tour itself is a must. Chiang Rai is about 3.5-4 hours away from the pick up point, so the tour itself is shorter than the up to 8 hour travel time. It is worth the money if you're itching to get out of Chiang Mai. Otherwise, I might recommend some closer tours to really experience all the area has to offer.

The temples were beautiful. As someone who loves to take pictures, this felt like a photographers playground; so many beautiful shots. The highlight of the trip was our tour guide, Banana. Super friendly, humorous, and taught us so much about the temples, Thailand, and Thai culture. He’s the best!
