We bought this tour because originally it was marketed as “wine & cheese” safari, but on the actual day it became a “wine & olive oil” tasting tour. The tour itself was well organised & the places visited beautiful. The products presented were OK & lunch was tasty. Tour guide, Antonio, was good although he did not engage as much with people in the group. This could be because it was a half day tour & someone else from the winery was giving the explanation on the wine making process. Overall, the tour was not bad, but it could have been better. One thing to note (and this happened as well on the previous tour we went to), we did not mind walking to the bus (parked away from the meeting point), but we think the walk could be a hazzard as we had to go through road works where there was no room for that many people to stand & wait on each side of pedestrian crossings. If the bus location cannot be changed, perhaps having a meeting point closer to the bus would have been better.

Ginevra and our driver Dominico were amazing! I have dreamed of experiencing the beautiful countryside hills of Tuscany, and today I got that and more. The tastings were plentiful, along with the lunch that featured some of the best ravioli I’ve ever had in my life. the large truck in the pictures is 100% necessary as some roads are insanely bumpy and uneven - Dominico did a great job of getting us everywhere in a timely fashion. Our tour leader Ginevra is so kind and knowledgeable and made the day great. Each tour guide of each winery were very thorough in their explanations of the process and taking us through production rooms, which was very exciting. We experienced unparalleled views in seemingly intimate settings/ family run wineries and despite being a white wine person, I was able to learn a ton and experience Italian reds in a whole new light. Highly recommend this tour for a fantastic day.
