The tour was fantastic and exceed our expectations. Our guide/sommelier Genevra was excellent in every way. Her knowledge of the region and wine is almost as impressive as her warm personality. The vineyards we visited were stunning and the wine was excellent. Cannot recommend enough...you will not regret booking this tour.

Had a good time. Beautiful scenery and yummy wine. Lunch was ok as usually I leave very full from trips like these. I wasn’t hungry but not full. Should have booked the longer trip as the 7 hr one only includes 1 winery. Loved the winery that was picked though. Our guide Antonio was funny and informative. He made the trip fun. Most “small group” trips we have done in the past are a van with about 12 people but this one has about 25. The “off road” aspect of it made it different and fun though.

The wine tour was a nice experience. We did the 6 hour tour option and it was more than enough time. You went to one vineyard and got to see the grounds and where the wine was made. The second stop as at a restaurant that also made wine and olive oil. The lunch was amazing. Our tour guide, Antonio, and our driver, Kristoff, were both very nice. Antonio was knowledgeable, funny, and patient with the group. He answered everyone’s questions. Thank you for a great experience!

Gloria and Roberto were amazing guides. Not only were the wineries diverse, but the knowledge shared was informative and interesting. Gloria also took the time to answer questions and ‘get to know the group’. Roberto was a smooth and careful driver.

We had an incredible day trip from Florence with our guide Alex! Throughout the day we sampled a variety of fantastic Brunello and local wines, enjoyed a delicious, authentic Tuscan meal, and took in some truly beautiful views of the rolling countryside. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and full of character. Alex was so personable and knowledgeable, he made the tour engaging and fun while sharing interesting insights about the wines, the region, and the local food traditions. His warmth and expertise really elevated the experience and made the day feel special. If you’re in Florence and want an unforgettable wine tour with great food, stunning scenery, and an outstanding guide, we highly recommend this experience with Alex!

Antonio, our tour guide, and our sommeliers provided a fantastico time at two regional wineries. All were very engaging and knowledgeable. Antonio (Mr. Language Person) speaks excellent English and furnished pertinent facts about the region, its history and the wine produced there. Alessandro, the sommelier at the first winery, Poggio Torselli, took us through the process of making Classic Chianti, including growing and harvesting the grapes and using different kinds of containers and times for aging. Our wine tasting included four varieties accompanied by pecorino cheese and bread topped with the winery’s own olive oil. The grounds and private villa were stunning. At the second winery, we learned about the properties of an excellent olive oil. Lunch started with several pieces of bread baked at the facility and topped with olive oil and tomatoes, chickpeas, mushrooms and pate. Two tasty pasta dishes were served as the main course accompanied by wines produced on the premises. Christof, our bus driver, drove us safely through the scenic Italian countryside. It was a tasty and entertaining experience!
