This is one of the most beloved tours out of Florence for a reason. Tony was an amazing tour guide, so full of joy and knowledge about the chianti classico region. We were delighted with two seperate wine and cheese tastings, with the second tasting being accompanied by lunch on a winery. The view. The vibe. It was literally heaven on earth. I’ve never had such good wine in my life.

We had a wonderful tour! I learned a ton about wine and really enjoyed seeing the beautiful Chianti region. Our tour guide, Ginevra, was excellent - she was not only extremely knowledgeable about wine/the region, but she was also a great entertainer and ensured everyone was having a great time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence. Also - the vehicle is awesome.

Sara (no h), a registered sommelier, was full of information and facts as we traveled to each of the 3 stops. The first stop she provided the correct way to assess a wine (and debunk a lot of misinformation). We had 3 wines at 3 different vineyards, all produced onsite. It was interesting to see the old vineyards from the newer one and how although decades or centuries apart the process is still the same. The staff at each vineyard provided a lot of history and processes. Lunch overlooking the Tuscan landscape was incredible. While the bus looks to be a marketing gimic there is no way we would have arrived at the second vineyard in a normal city bus.

From the start of our wine safari adventure, we knew it was going to be great. The tour guide was Giancarlo and he was excellent. He told us a lot of history of the area and Italy in general. He gave us tips and information we wouldn’t find in a history book. This was on the way to the first winery and throughout the day. We went to the first winery and it was beautiful. We learned about the wine making process and also toured some of the house that was on the property. We tried some amazing wine and cheeses. We then went to another winery where we tasted some more wine in a stunning vineyard and ate some homemade pasta and other dishes. Yum. The ride was cool while driving over roads that a normal car would get stuck on. Overall Giancarlo made the trip the best. He made the drive seem short and treated us as his family.

A fantastic day with a great group of people we met on the day. The trip was long enough, and the three wineries we visited were outstanding. We bought 10 bottles of wine on the day and now need to choose which one to drink before we arrive back home in Australia, to avoid paying tax 😅.
