First we tour vineyards and cellar of an organic farm in the heart of the Chianti region, receiving an up close look at the production and ageing process of the Chianti wines and learning about the secrets of the extra virgin olive oil making.

This experience includes a wine tasting and the opportunity to buy for cheap the best Tuscan wines. Our trip continues on to the medieval town of San Gimignano, where you will also have the chance to try the famous world champion Dondoli gelato.

We then move on to a second winery where we enjoy an authentic Tuscan light lunch, combined to a wine tasting class.

On our way back we stop at Piazzale Michelangelo, in the top ten of the most romantic spots in Europe.

We will visit our first winery in the breathtaking Chianti region.

We will enjoy a guided visit to the stunning medieval village of San Gimignano where we will explore the main squares and admire the most scenic panoramic views. You'll also have free time to wander in the narrow streets, to do shopping and to try a delicious Gelato made by the worldwide championship winner Dondoli!

San Gimignano: We will discover one of the most attractive medieval vilages in the Tuscan wine country.
Wine tasting class: We will visit the wine cellars, we will learn more about wine making process as well as extravirgin olive oil and more
Duration: 7 hours: We will depart from Florence at 9:00 am and be back by 4/5 pm. In case you need to be back a bit earlier just let us know.
Typical Tuscan light lunch: Wine tasting of local wines with snacks at the first winery, light lunch paired with delicious wines at the second winery.

Amazing. Worth every penny!!! a driver was wonderful. The food and wine was amazing. It was absolutely wonderful. It was a great combination of food, wine, and being able to visit the town with the cherry on top.

Wear a hat and sneakers, we learnt a lot about the region and the wines and Christian was awesome as our host and was a ball of fun !!!
Worth it—but go to Sicily instead if you can.

This was part of an end of life trip for me (stage 4 cancer) with my two adult daughters and my oldest daughter’s husband. We are traveling to Venice, Florence, Rome, Catania, Sorrento, Naples. I love wine and wineries and so this was probably the excursion I was most looking forward to. Tour guide was great. First winery—very dynamic host and good wine. 2nd winery-not as personal, great lunch, but not great wine. Trip to San Gimignan beautiful and fun but felt rushed. Driver said he would take my daughter back after last winery to the place that specializes in tiramisu but he did not. Overall good-but we enjoyed the winery tours at Mt Etna/Sicily more.
